If you could create a next new Table Service at the World, just ONE, what would be the theme (cuisine, region of the world, etc.) and where in Disney World would you put this restaurant???

Easy.I'd have it in Epcot. It would be called " Around the world in eight ways " It would be a restaurant serving food from 8 countries of the world,so if you fancied Italian, your DW fancied Mexican, your DS & DD fancied American (Dogs& fries) then everyone will have a happy face. P.S. It can be done,I've been to a restaurant that done this and done it well.:)

I would capitalize on the gourmet burger craze by making one such place that made 10 special burgers, regional and international tastes.

I would also build a proper Indian restaurant in AK India

I would make an Italian version of Prime Time Cafe in WS. I'd give people the feeling of being at "Sunday Dinner" in an Italian-American household. Family style service; Salad, Pasta, Sausage and Peppers, Braciola, Baked Chicken, Canolis and Espresso. Your "Uncle" or "Aunt" will keep telling you that you're too skinny, and you need to eat, etc. They will also give you lots of "Italian Guilt".

Since I've got a little girl now who loves the fairies, I'd love a Pixie Hollow themed restaurant with a fairy meet & greet. I know Disney is already a little heavy on character meals, particularly girly ones, but I keep thinking how my DD would light up over this. I can just imagine what cute, whimsical menu items they could have.

I don't know how feasible this would be but I think it would be kind of cool to have a table service option at AK that overlooked some of the animals. Kind of like Coral Reef but without the water. They could serve african inspired dishes along with some american food. It would save a trip to AKL for really good african foods and would offer something the other parks don't.

The Magic Kingdom is desperately in need of more table service locations! My first choice would be to put a Tom Sawyer-themed restaurant (essentially reincarnating the old Aunt Polly's as a table-service establishment) on Tom Sawyer Island, with a menu inspired by the traditional Southern cooking that Mark Twain wrote about (e.g., http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/07/28/mark-twains-southern-cooking/).

However, I've read elsewhere that this is impossible, given the difficulty in expeditiously transporting supplies and cast members over to the island. So... my runner-up would be an Old Western-themed restaurant with live saloon entertainment and... oh, wait? Diamond Horseshoe? Already did that? Did away with that? Darn!

Okay, here's my third shot: Haunted Mansion-themed restaurant, decorated in Gothic style, hidden behind the Haunted Mansion show building and accessible through some sort of "secret" (except that it would have huge signage pointing to it, LOL!) passage near the Mansion entrance. The dining room would imitate the Gothic Victorian look and style of the one inside the Mansion (looking aged but omitting the cobwebs - folks do have to eat there after all!). The backstory would involve some sort of gathering, held every 50 years since the master's mysterious disappearance. Every hour, a raging storm outside would cause lights to flicker, chandeliers to swing, and apparitions to appear for a short while. The menu would be upscale, focusing on good steaks, fresh salads and light pasta dishes, but would include a handful of items representing a playful take on the kinds of appetizers you see at Halloween parties -- breadsticks that look like Mummy's fingers, etc. Music would be provided by a pipe organ that plays itself. In the restrooms, the mirrors would reflect ghostly images and the toilets would flush by themselves... oh wait, toilets already do that.

Great ideas!

I would put a Star Wars cantina themed restaurant in DHS. Complete with alien band and dancers. It would be a replica of the cantina in Star Wars and have character 'performances' similar to whats at 1900 Park Fare. The menu would be an eclectic one having food from all over the world, all of course with Star Wars themed names put to them.

I like it!
Not sure of the space near Tower of Terror, but they could run with a similar themed sit down in conjuction with that attraction. Instead of a mansion, it would have to be old school hotel/ballroom dining with a haunted twist...but as I'm typing this I am remembering that a hop, skip and a jump away at the Brown Derby, they already transport you back to the early 20th century.

Yep.
Star Wars has proven to be a mainstay in pop culture.
Kids today along with future generations would love it....as would adults.

I want a TS restaurant added to the American Adventure in Epcot that showcases regional parts of the US. I'd like to see a dining room for each region (i.e. decorated according to landmarks of that region...like eating on the Brooklyn Bridge, on the edge of Grand Canyon & Hoover Dam, or inside a cable car in San Francisco- to name a few)...I'd also like to see a special area (maybe chefs table sort of area) that is redecorated periodically to spotlight a specific city or sub-region not fully represented in one of the main regional dining rooms (i.e. maybe dine in Napa Valley or the French Quarter). I'd like the menus to feature popular regional cuisines compiled by a crew of master chefs representing each region...and the specialty items on the menu would be from the feature city or sub-region in the special area. Servers would be from each region represented in the various regional dining rooms.

Now you're talking. These United States have some outstanding regional cuisines, it would be easy to come up with a *USA Tour of Flavors* From San Fran's lovely seafood offerings to NYC Goomba pastas and pizzas to New Orleans Crawfish Boils and to Texas for Tex mex goodness!! Of course, deep dish apple pie would be one of the desserts :)
