As Chairman of the parks you'd think he'd be visiting a lot more frequently than he does. I'm guessing he's probably heading that way to check in on the FE progress etc.

I agree - his visits seem far and few. He seems to be very interested and invested in CA. Orlando - not so much. There seems to be a hands-off approach with WDW. As long as it is raking in the bucks, they seem disinterested in how or at what price.

He seems to visit the parks more than Rasulo did. If I had to guess I'd say he's checking out Fantasyland progress for a photo opp, and then perhaps looking at possibilities in DHS (Per Lutz's comments today) and/or DAK.

To his credit, Staggs has been pushing for a return to high quality in Orlando. His visits aren't always smooth and polite.

Good, I hope he kicks some TDO...booty. According to the other new thread about the DHS makeover, TDO already wants to drastically cut and water down Imagineerings three year grand plan and turn into much of nothing over a longer period. Maybe he will put his foot down on something like this. One can dream anyway.

It's what it took with FLE. I'm guessing that's what it's going to take until TDO has a mass exodus in 2015.

This makes me hopeful he's the next CEO, if it's true.

I'd be very interested in learning more. Based on my observations of WDW over the last few years, I don't see much evidence of this but perhaps his view of quality is different than mine. What areas of quality is he pushing?
