I was wondering, if there was anyplace that they could fit an e ticket in at storybook circus. Does anyone see a spot where they could fit it in?

Between World Drive and the RR track there is area. Although...directly adjacent to Storybook Circus is a retention pond (behind the Fantasyland RR Station). There is some area to the east of the speedway (between the retention pond and Space Mtn)...although not directly next to Storybook Circus.

idk... the Speedway leans more towards Tomorrowland in location, but they might be able to work something out. and i don't think another Dumbo ride would cut it. maybe a sort of carnival-themed coaster (not like Barnstormers)

and not to say John Carter was horrible, but really it didn't perform very well. it wouldn't be smart to make an attraction out of it thinking people would be interested in going.

All I know is with the Magic Kingdom closing in on 20 million per, they better think about a high capacity E-Ticket in the upper right hand corner of the park to disperse crowds.

I agree completely but I think 1 or two things in Tomorrowland are in order before an E-ticket in Storybook Circus.

I agree. The intent (as near as I can tell) of that land - throughout it's lifespan - has been to provide a little safe haven for families with little ones. They can go back there in their own little corner, play around, shop, splash in the water...all while parents can relax a bit and sit down for a minute.

The last thing Circus Land needs is an e-ticket that everyone would want to ride. That will drag people back there who should stay in the rest of the park and leave the kiddies alone (I'm looking at you, rowdy teens).

The Speedway plot is ideal for an attraction. From the face of the queue to the tracks, and from the side of the TTA to the back of Dumbo is a HUGE plot of land. Based on a quick glance at Google Maps, every show building in the park would fit there in some form. Pirates is the exception, but it wouldn't have to be separated in this spot.

Even Small World - the biggest single show building, would fit comfortably. The mansion too. Heck, even the entire Splash Mountain complex could be nestled into that area. They'd have to theme whatever it is 360-degrees, but the space is just such a waste.

And the sky's the limit as to what type of attraction. That space is literally the transition from TL to Fl....and is currently the worst transition on property (in my opinion at least, but I know I have lots of support on this). It could be half fantasy, half futuristic. Something Jules Verne-ish would be wonderful. But really, I would almost take ANYTHING over the friggin' go carts!

Agreed. And I would imagine the speedway's days are numbered. Too low of a capacity for such a large (in acreage) attraction. Of course, "days or numbered" could still mean we get to deal w/ it for another 10 years...but if they want to make another substantial addition after FLE is open, it's an easy location.

the john carter thing was more of a joke about a movie that has no right to having a attraction kinda like how avatar makes no sense to me

What is that ride that was once talked about, Mickey's Fun House or something??? that would fit into Storybook Circus...
If I recall correctly, the original E-Tic that Eric J. proposed for Fantasyland's expansion was called "Cartoon Corners".

Actually, the Adventureland plot would provide better guest dispersion, getting people down to the Southeast corner.

Not that it's at all on topic, but there is one big difference:

John Carter box office: $282,758,679
Avatar box office: $2,782,275,172

i still think they could open up the speedway area a bit! they could go over or under the rail tracks and could make a trully huge new area and divide it between tommorrow land and circus land! and still have space for the transition! any thoughts?
