Eastern vs Western AND Nov vs Jan

We are currently booked on the Nov 3rd Eastern cruise. It's looking like we might have to postpone until the Jan 19th Western cruise. :( I'd love to hear thoughts on the itineraries. Eastern was our first choice because there are more sea days. My 9 year old daughter and I have never cruised, my husband has. Should we do everything we can to keep the Nov cruise or will we be just as happy with the Jan dates? Thanks in advance!!

I think you'll be happy with either one! If you don't want to get off the ship one day and want to have your own "sea day", you can! Most people love more ports though. As long as they're going good places which the Eastern and Western both do.

The way I look at it, either itinerary will be great. It's a Disney cruise either way. Whichever works out better for you now means you know which to book while you're onboard for your next adventure. Right?!?!

Thanks ladies. My heart is set on Eastern. My husband would rather do Eastern as well, but he's not crazy about missing out on hunting for a week! I'm now considering a short 3 day trip in Sept for Night of Joy in addition to the cruise so I've got lots of decisions to make!!

Do either of you have a preference as to November vs January sailing?

I would have a slight preference for November because the weather is a little more predictable then.

But I've done a couple of January cruises and they've been great. On one the weather in Florida was a little chilly, on the other it was gorgeous!

Ride out to Caribbean is a little rough in early November. Pill and patch up, if you make it through the first night you will be fine. Dinner is usually the worst because you hit open water right as first serving is sitting down. Beyond that i have been twice in early November and had a good time. As far as weather in florida, there may be one last hurricane off the coast and the temperature could be anywhere from 20-90 degrees and vary week to week. But that is true of Florida every winter.
