What is worth 2 credits?

We will have 7 sit down credits for our upcoming visit. We are wondering what is worth two credits? We would like to visit ONE place that is worth two credits for a nice meal, romantic atmosphere. We are looking for a meal without characters (we will be visiting something else for character experience) and for dinner, looking for a nice evening to get dressed up!. Just to note we will be visiting Le Cellar for lunch (so we will only use one credit)..

Romantic is hard to do just because the noise level in even the nicest WDW Signature restaurant can be an issue, but...

All of the signature dining restaurants allow for a nice meal in pleasant atmosphere and IMO all have food that is worth two credits [there are some who will disagree].

I'd recommend reviewing the menus and deciding which appeals to you as a couple.

Enjoy!

We always go to LE Cellier in Epcot. We really enjoy the food the have a awesome fillet steak and cheddar soup is a must have. We go with our son every year who is 5 and he enjoys it as well.

First choice - Cali Grill
Second choice - Artist Point
3rd choice - Jiko

I've yet to experience every Signature restaurant, but as far as romantic atmosphere goes, those should be your top choices, IMHO. I'm sure others would vouch for Narcoossee's and Citricos, both at Grand Floridian, too.

We're going to be having California Grill this Saturday night to kickoff our honeymoon. The key is to find a dinner time 45 minutes or so before Wishes. That way you get to enjoy the show from the balcony. They pipe in the music and dim the lights from what I have read. Sounds like a very magical/romantic evening.

California Grill for the fireworks if you're trying to keep it romantic, it can get quite noisy whilst eating.

Not sure how many credits it is but the Maya Grill at Coronado Springs was very nice. The lighting is toned down, it was very quiet when we were there in August 2010 and had some lovely music playing as well - a mixture of live and restaurant audio.

We have never done Cali Grill so cannot comment on that one. We did absolutely LOVE Artist Point when we ate their a few years ago and DH still braggs about the meal he got at Yachtman Steakhouse on our honeymoon

Two credits are hard to justify at the current cost of the DDP. However, some of the signatures are pretty great. Here are our favorites.

Artist Point @ the Wilderness Lodge
Yachtsman @ Yacht Club
Flying Fish @ Boardwalk

Le Cellier is not worth 2 credits. however, you can get almost the same menu at lunch as the one at dinner for 1 credit. There may be some variations between the menus but it still worth it....at lunch that is!!!!

Le Cellier! We lucked out and got a beautiful booth in the corner. So secluded. The atmosphere there is really special.
