Can I go to two parks in one day with a base ticket?

Quick question: If I have an 8 day base ticket, can I go to two different parks in one day? Will it just use another park day if I do that or would I just have to buy a park hopper?

Thanks in advance!

So if you want to go to two parks in one day, you have to have a park hopper for the entire visit, or can you add a park hopper to the one day?

It would seem that you could use a subsequent day's ticket at a different park. Are y'all sure that you can't?

I thought you could visit multiple parks on the same day with a base ticket but it would just cost you another day usage. So two park visits in 1 day burns 2 days on your ticket.

Could be wrong!

It's all or nothing for the park hopper.

Without park hopper, 1 park per day. With park hopper as many parks as you can do.

The park hopper price is the same for 1 day as for 7 days. You pay the $54 (may have gone up) once and it's good for however many days are on your ticket. So it makes sense to park hop several days if you buy the option.

Well if you want you can just buy a 9 or 10 day base ticket for about $7 more per day per person. And then you can burn a couple of days by hopping and still have enough tickets for the rest of your stay. Or just upgrade to the hopper but that is about $60 more per person for an 8 day pass.

I am absolutely 100%, bet my life on it positive, that you can not visit more than one park per day on a ticket without park hopping. Disney does have a lower priced option for a 1 day park hopper ($35) ticket but if your ticket is more than a 1 day ticket, the park hopping option $58.58. It does not matter if it is a 2 day or a 10 day ticket, the price is the same.

Just remember, it is a 8 "day" ticket not a 8 "park" ticket.

No you can not.The system will not let you use 2 days on the same day.

These guys are correct. I learned this the hard way on my first WDW visit as an adult.

Absolutely, positively, must have the park hopper option to visit more than one park on the same day. There are virtually no exceptions to this rule. If you do try to park hop with a "base" ticket you will be turned away at the second park.
