Man, how I miss the Skyway. The sky still seems empty to me without those towers there. It will be weird not seeing the Fantasyland building there but I know that space will be put to better use other than an abandoned building.

FROM THE BROCHURE - A blast from the past on there: EASTERN Airlines! I remember that attraction in Tomorrowland from my very first visit to MK, then I suspect it was gone as the airline was soon after.

Thanks everyone that has taken the time to upload these photos!

For my birthday my step-daughter just gave me a copy of Life magazine dated Oct 15, 1971. The cover picture is of the castle with about 1,500 cast members. Very cool.

That is very cool. A lot of vintage photos in that issue. My friends father who has worked there since openin day has a copy of this issue. He also has one of those old maps of the planned seven seas lagoon area thag use to be in the contemporary. It's very cool it's been in his garage since me and buddy were in elementary school.

All my 1970's and some 80's come from slides. Over the years I've scanned I don't know how many thousand slides into the computer. We still have our Bell & Howell projector. Now if I could only figure out how to do the movie film without having to pay so much. I'd love to look at the old movies we have of Disney especially the 1st time we were there late enough for the little lights to come on in the trees and see the lights on Main Street.
