So I am a Mom of four little Mickey lovers and they are 6, 5, 2 and 14 months...so I have the dreaded double stroller! Trust me I HATE it too. In my constant effort to make my life easier I stumbled upon this double stroller beauty and though you all would appreciate the very small footprint. It should be here in a few days and I am looking forward to breaking it in at the local parks and zoo so it is in peak condition for WDW in September.
I solemnly swear to NOT hit anyone in the ankles, stop in the middle of a walk way or park in front of you during Wishes:)

The stroller in my avatar is not the new stroller that picture was two kids and two strollers ago...

Let's get someone to invent some hovercraft-style strollers. You know, like the thing Yoda sits on in "Attack of the Clones" to get around? Maybe we can premiere it in Tomorrowland.

@pjkdog we have a similar backpack and it is great for hikes/yard work/playing with the older kids so baby is up and enjoying too...but I do not have the endurance for that on my back at the parks...but if your 2 yo likes it and you can do I say try for a morning at the local Zoo or where ever to see how it would work at WDW...
@ everyone else no offense taken:) the stroller situation at WDW can be out of control and I push one!
@rodsterling27...can I get inline for a hover style stroller or well hover style anything;) perhaps we will see this pop up in innovations?

The front-and-back strollers are much less intrusive than the side-by-side models. Yours looks compact and efficient. I applaud you, madam. :sohappy:

We took a double last time and it was a side by side but slim. Dont remember having any problems nor do I ever remember having issues with others and their doubles.

Your stroller looks smaller than some singles though!!

A friend of mine just bought that stroller too. They are bringing it do Disney in a few months. So far they seem to like it.

I must have missed all the fun.:lol:

Kristamouse, that's a really awesome stroller! I'm so amazed at the cool stuff they have for kiddies these days.......which makes me feel awkwardly old because I remember hearing that a lot when my boys were little squirts. They're only 13 & 15! :lookaroun We were told it'd be highly unlikely we'd have children so we didn't make car & furniture choices that were condusive to little ones when we first started out together. Our first brand new car was a 1996 Mistubishi Eclipse (with manual crank windows because we couldn't afford the luxury options..LOL) so getting those car seats in and out was F-U-N. The trunk was a good size considering the size of the car but, unfortunately, they didn't make double strollers small enough in those days that would fit in the space we had. The only way we could do a "double stroller" was to use the connector clips on 2 umbrella strollers. I soooooo remember wishing beyond wish that I could have one of those strollers that had the regular seat facing forward with the big brother/sister plank facing backward right behind it when they first came out. I wanted that thing so bad! Nevermind having a 4-door car. Just let me have the cool stroller that seats 2 that will fit in the trunk I already have. **sigh** It's funny the things you look back on.

I try not to be too rough on stroller peeps in the parks when they have little ones. It's the 8-10 year olds that are folded up in a Disney doubles that I (admittedly) scoff at. Yeah, it seems silly but I kinda wanna shove the kid out and curl up in there myself for the free ride. :D

I can't imagine trying to do the side-by-side strollers in the parks. It seems like they'd be more difficult to manage in shops, on ramps, or other tight spaces.

Very nice stroller you spotted. I'm almost envious....but then I realize I'd have to have little squirts again for that and then the envious feeling goes away.

i used to chuckle at these threads and think "i've really never delt with too many stroller related issues. what's the big deal?"

now, my wife and i are expecting our little one in november! i'm terrified of having poor stroller navigation skills....

pre-appologies to all i encounter in the future, and i applaud the op for the effort!

Congrats on your new baby! I wish you many happy Disney vacations and many nights of sleep:)
I am a bit of a stroller wh*re, so ask away if you have any questions, I have owned or tried most of them:) WDW is a great place to scope out usable helpful baby gear.
@sweet pea my baby turned 1 and my SIL just had a new little boy and I was melting just smelling his new baby smelll and then I remember the not so nice smells from my little guy and wisened up. I can only imagine the baby grear our kids will have...perhaps the hover stroller will be ready for them

We're headed down on Thursday and are taking our 2 seater (front/back). Thought about renting one but, at $23-$30 a day (depending on which rental deal you take) it's just not worth it. Trust me, as a Dad of 3, there is no bigger pain than lugging a stroller around but, with a 7, 3, & 2 year old, we're taking no chances! We'll be careful around the non-stroller folks! LOL :D

And that's all people really care about. The reasonable people. It's the same with the ECV's. There is nothing wrong with either of them, but when in the wrong hands they are abused they cause havoc. Especially when someone operating/pushing either one thinks for the very fact that they are using a stroller or ECV they instantly have the right to plow through anywhere and everyone else just has to move or get hit.

Just be courteous to everyone and you won't have a problem - just like any normal, considerate person would.
