What's the most you've ever paid out of pocket for a meal at WDW???

This past trip I dropped just shy of $300 at California Grille for just me and my girlfriend (after tip)...

The waiter shook my hand when he brought me the bill............ I didn't even want to open it after that happened...

What did you think of V & A? Did you like the set menu? We stayed at GF in 08 and again next year, never been tempted. $500 too much for food IMO.

It was great, we loved the whole experience. The food and service were both outstanding. Each dish was prepared and presented perfectly.Maybe not 500 dollar worth, but it was a special anniversary. That plus the fact that my dear wife watches all those cooking shows so she really loved it.

Our dear son is 13 years old, 6 feet tall and can eat a 24 oz porterhouse no sweat so now we usually do Shula's for our "special" meal. As my son says "it's a guy place!"

Last year, during a family reunion, parents only, California Grill, bill was $1,500+. Entirely worth it in my view. Father, who was present and has a nice meal, treated, but I paid on his card. That was sticker shock.

Not old, just vintage.
I paid for a dinner at Le Cellier last year that cost us about $250 for 3 adults/2 kids. It was about what I expected for 5 people who had a full meal. The most I have ever spent on a single meal (with 2 people) was $300 with tip at Napa Rose in Disneyland last summer. I was happy I did it but I doubt I will be spending that kind of money again any time soon.

Heading for the great escape.
For a meal around $500 maybe just over at the Cali Grill, the wine bumped it up.

For drink $275 ish in the tequila bar. An afternoon and money well spent

This was my experience too. Most I ever spent at a restaurant anywhere on 2 people. Its amazing how fast a $200 meal becomes 300 with tip and taxes. It was worth it though. One of the best meals I have ever had.

If I remember correctly, about $160 at the California Grill for three of us. Neither of us drink alcohol, so the bill is always less than others.

In 2003 on our honeymoon my wife and I went to V&A and it cost about $400. It was the best meal I have ever had. :slurp:

About $3700 before tip and tax at California Grille, Father's Day, for about 20 of us. We told them to just start bringing sushi, ANY sushi, and to keep it coming.

That included several bottles of wine, and a ton of booze.

The sushi chef was so astounded that he and some of the other kitchen crew came out to our tables to see who we were. No one special, just a family with cash.

As for me personally, about $100 after booze and tip for a 3 course meal @ Cali Grille.

Thank goodness for the Disney rewards card, but I spent 160.00 on breakfast at 1900 Park Fare for a table of 4 adults, then another 140.00 for lunch at the Mexico Pavilion, and 250.00 for dinner at Fulton's Crab House. Phew!
