So our cousin has decided to get married over Labor Day weekend in Orlando Woo Hoo!...of course we can't pass up a chance to get to WDW...we have been in March, May, June, September and October. The wedding is on Saturday and I know there will be some family things on Sunday so we would be checking in on Monday, Labor day and departing Saturday night. Any thoughs on crowds...I have four kids under six who did great in October with mild to moderate crowds:)
Thanks!

From everything I've read, Labor Day does not appear to have bad crowds at all. The later in August you go, the less crowded it gets, and apparently Labor Day is not much busier than that. We'll be going around Labor Day this year.:)

I was at WDW in the past on Labor Day. I could tell you that Labor Day isn't that bad to begin with in terms of crowds.

Labor Day actually gets less busy at WDW as later it get in the day.

Most all schools have just gone back or will go the Tuesday after labor day. Most folks who will pull kids out of school will not do it on the first or second week. So your time frame should be a great time. Now i think you will see the HEAT..which will be a change for the young ones from October. You will just have to make sure they all drink lots of water and naps in the afternoon to escape the heat will help!!! Have a great time and Congrats to your Cousin!!!

For a few years in a row we've taken our family DW vacation on Labor Day week. We love it because the crowds have been VERY low compared to what they are many other times of the year. It's a great week to go! The only drawback is that it's still very hot. We usually enjoy our resort on the actual holiday and go to the parks the following days, but I've heard that Labor Day itself isn't bad, either.

We will be there too!!! :D
The only concern that I had was visiting the MK on Labor Day - so, I decided on Epcot instead.
