Average wait times and crowds in early December?

You'll be going around when Pop Warner will be there. Prepare for the worst.

We go the exact same week every year. We feel it is the BEST time to go. The lines are VERY short, but the park is crowded...it's very deceiving. The Christmas decor is up, the weather has been great for us the past 3 years...cool at night, warm during the day.
We've NEVER had a problem with Pop Warner...we may see a few groups of kids in the park (both players and cheerleaders), but have NEVER had a problem and do not notice any additional crowds due to Pop Warner.

As said before, crowds will be great. You won't have long lines at all. We hardly use fastpass even, really.
But from what I gather, the real issue is if you're staying at a value resort during Pop Warner. Fights, unruly kids, and lots of drunk parents seem to be more prevalent during this week. A couple years ago a couple teams even got kicked out if I recall... Which certainly can't be easy to do.
I'd steer WAY clear of value resorts, but other than that, enjoy the trip!

We went the week before a few years ago and vowed to never go another week. I guess the week before put us ahead of the Pop warner crowd. Didn't notice any. But the crowds are very low. Very few lines. And even less Long lines. And the Christmas Decorations and events make it all the more special as the Christmas season is going to be in full swing. Enjoy, wish I was joining you!

Everything I hear says its one of the slowest times of the year despite Pop Warner so I'm sure you'll be fine. I'd love to go myself some year to see all the decorations up for the holidays!

Heading for the great escape.
Lats year was busier than the year before and then people were saying its not normally like this. I fely it was as busy as mid august at least but there was no humidity to deal with
