I am sure the theming will be second to none but I think that something is missing from this expansion.

IMO Fantasy Forest screams Robinhood attraction.

What if anything do you feel is missing?

Totally agreed but I'm still holding out hope that that mini land next to Pixie Hollow is for Alice...I mean the big flowers scream Wonderland...:shrug:

I also will push for more attractions. However if you look at it from strictly a capacity standpoint, they could see a large increase in hourly capacity without factoring in the restaurants or meet and greet attractions, which may simply offset the capacity lost by removing Mickey's Toontown fair:

Ariel's Undersea Adventure: Omnimover, probably around 2000 an hour
2nd Dumbo Spinner: 600-800 additional capacity per hour
Modified Barnstormer: Probably no increase
Pixie Hollow C Ticket: Could be 600-1000 per hour

It's not a DCA level increase, but it is still quite substantial. If given the choice of another D/E ticket in Fantasyland, or another D/E ticket elsewhere on property I'd vote for the latter.

Well, it won't be in phase 1....Nothing like that was talked about. Maybe later? I hadn't heard.

I just hope that they have taken that into thought and will in turn decrease their capacity because if there is not a whole nother area to "eat" people and you have that same # of people in the park as if that area still existed than it will be UGLY!

Well I do hope that phase 2 does happen, because they are REALLY taking a chance on this right now with the economy, but if this is suppose to be their answer to be back in compettition with USO then perhaps it will. :shrug:

The economy is bad, yes, but honestly, Disney could do this regardless, especially in WDW, seeing that it's the cash cow for WDC.

USO and HP?...I think that it will effect SOME competition, but nothing too drastic. HP will be a large draw, though. It's getting me..:lookaroun

Phase Two is coming with Pixie Hollow and the possible Dark Ride. Rasulo croaked out that it would be after the fact, and "when we are finally done", so I think it'll be a bit after the fact...if at all. We shall see. Disney is bad with Phase Two's...

isn't there a planned phase 2? couldn't that include more attractions? or are the 2 phases just referring to the attractions that have already been announced?
