serenity bay on castaway cay

I was just wondering if castaway cay on serenity was a disappointment for any one else? the seawead in the water and lack of usable paths combined with the smell of the water left us unimpressed. the rest of the cruise was wonderful, however with serenity bay the only letdown.

Castaway Cay was the highlight of the trip when I went. Quite honestly given the option of living in a luxury cono in Manhattan or in a tent on the beach at Castawy Cay I would chose the tent.

yeah I agree with you, we liked it for the most part, just thought serenity bay was a little disappointing.

Apparently Serenity Bay has had some problems with a smelly tide at times. It's rather unpredictable. Last January I heard many people talking about the smell and seaweed just a few days before we were there, but it was great when we arrived.

I'm with Richard on that tent idea.

lol yeah the tent sounds pretty good right now from pittsburgh. It was just everything leading up to the adult beach, from cookies to the family beach to the sting ray adventure was so wonderful. The adult beach, to us, was less than wonderful.
