We stayed at Saratoga back in October of 2008. It wasn't our favorite resort (I think that's a tie between Boardwalk and Beach Club for location), but I did like it.

I liked the theming around the resort and in the rooms. I also like the colors in the room. Not that that is a deciding factor, but here are a few pictures from our room.

I also like the look of the outside of the buildings and just the general feel of the place.

On the downside, size and location. This resort is huge! We requested a building in the Springs and were very glad we did. We were close to the main pool and the store. We are mug refillers and wouldn't have wanted to waste money on them if it was a huge hassle to get a refill. We also liked being so close to the pool. I'm not sure I would want to stay at a different location here, although I know some areas are closer to DTD. That was a huge walk from our building, we tried it one time and it was endless, especially with the kids.

Location becomes a sort of mute point between Saratoga and OKW since neither are very close to a park and you pretty much have to take a bus everywhere.

We liked Saratoga and would stay there again, but there are other resorts that we prefer. Hope this helped with your decision!

Also keep in mind depending on the room type you are looking for, at OKW you can get two Queen sized beds in a Studio, at SS you will be having one Queen sized bed and one pull out bed so that may be a factor as well. Belle

It will prob be just me and my DGF so a room with 1 Queen size bed would be no problem!

Those pictures are from a dedicated two bedroom villa. They would also be comprable to what you would have in a one bedroom. I didn't post any pictures from the second bedroom which actually did have two beds in it. I'm not sure if that was because it was a dedicated two bedroom or not, but it was nice to have the two beds in there.

I would definitely request an area that I wanted to be in at Saratoga. It's such a big resort and they can't guarantee to place you where you want to be, but your chances are good that you will get close to where you would like to be. I would study maps and decide what area you would most like.

Here is a picture of the second bedroom. Again, I'm not sure if only dedicated two bedrooms have two beds or if it's just certain rooms, but at least we had them.

We just returned from Saratoga Springs in Sept. We did not book there but we got an upgraded to Saratoga Springs. This trip it was just my fiance and I, and for two adults in a 1 bdrm villa it was awesome, whirlpool tub, washer-dryer, king size bed and a balcony with a great view. However, I would not book this on my own. As the others said, this is a huge resort. The food court is tiny and the food offerings there are minimal. The gift shop is little more than a corner of the food court. Prepare to walk alot. This is the only resort I have ever gotten lost at.
The only real complaint I had was the houskeeping was lacking. Twice in the week we were there the housekeeper left "soft scrub" of some liquid cleaner just squirted in the sink and on the shower floor, like she forgot to go back and scrub them. Hey no worry for me, that means no tip.
If it is just you and your DGF, Saratoga will be nice. When we went, I was planning to propose to my DGF at CRT(She said yes) so this was a welcome upgrade for me.
