"It's too early to announce it but it looks like an independant film will soon be made about our adventures! We've been thinking about this for a couple months and it looks like everything is coming together. Several film makers have contacted us about such a project and we think we've found the right person to pull it off. Mesa Verde Times won't change a bit except for an update or two about the film. In fact we see this blog going on forever because we have a ________ LOAD of material!
Thank you for the kind words Horizons fans! We'll be here to entertain you for the rest of your lives."

Aw, I thought it was about a film actually based on the ride. :(

Anyway, best luck to the finished film. Should be awesome eye candy for the behind the scenes.

It would be nice if the film had a large enough budget to recreate the Horizons' sets, but I'm betting that won't happen.

I'll do it, heck, it'll just be a graduate-level-film-student Documentary.

If the Director is watching this site, let me handle the credits....

This is excellent news. Made right, the movie could gain at least little bit of general public interest, and thusly could possibly catch the right kind of attention from Disney itself...

The Right Attention will mean a lawsuit.

"They can't sell documentaries about people breaking the rules on one of OUR attractions!" I think will be the gist of their point.

The right attention, I said. What you are referring to would be the wrong attention.

Fantastic. Those guys are the best! I love it when dedicated fans are able to make such an impact. They have truly kept the spirit of Horizons alive, and introduced it to those, like me, who never got to experience it.

Hey, if the small-budget film is a success it could spawn a big-budget remake. Imagine an Oceans 11-style film with George Clooney as Hoot Gibson, Brad Pitt as Chief, Scarlett Johannsen as Sunnycide and Michael Eisner as Satan.
