I am watching a Disney show on the History Channel and it talked about a WallE animatronic, even showing pictures of it. It is a roaming animatronic much like Lucky the Dinosaur.

Has anybody been in the park and seen this?

Unfortunately he didnt make it into the parks. He's been used at a few special events on Tv and at D23, but not in the parks.

I think he was part of the annoucements at the D23 expo. Allears.net has a video of him in the blog section about the expo.

The meet & greet in the Magic of Disney Animation was all decked up for Wall-E..But they never had him. So all they did was added a little Standee in his place.

Nope, he was never in a park.

He weighs a ridiculous amount, and they were worried he'd somehow run over someone's foot.

You kidding?!:brick:

I heard it was for glitches...

And run over? I mean, he moves, but it's not like he's too fast for you.

When he was in Miami, they kept him at bay, anyway.

That didn't stop Lucky or the Muppet Mobile Laboratory. I'm sure neither one of these were light. Sounds like an pretty flimsy excuse to me.

I think it's because Lucky and the Muppets were fairly large specimens, that people would just stay away with what little common sense most guests have, where WALL-E was deceptively heavy.

Makes me wonder how much that little rat from Ratatouille weighs. :lookaroun

And Lucky had a sensor in her toe if she stepped, right?

Still kinda a bum excuse, though.
