Just an update for anyone heading to the parks today.

Wed 8th April MK phase 2 closed at 11am. This means Resort guests, Annual Passholders and guests hopping from another park are still allowed entry, but others will be denied.

My brother/sister-in-law/3 1/2 y.o. niece are checking into the Poly this morning. They've been to Disney before, but are not savvy veterans. We all went with my niece last May. I hope they make out okay. She's too young for most rides anyway and really just cares about meeting characters. And I suspect they'll be happy just lounging around the pool most of the afternoon, which in itself will probably be packed.

This is not a good time for rookies. Wonder if the park will go phase 4 again? Have to check this out after work tonight and see how this develops.

What's bad during times like this, is that Disney loses a lot of repeat business.

Almost everyone who I've ever talked to, who made a first trip to WDW during a peak time, was turned off and vowed never to return again.

But, those crowds will keep the stock propped up through this tough time.

Been emailed by a few people that Epcot is stacked, not closed, but very very busy. All Soarin' FPs gone by 11am.
