I've met some friends over the internet. One guy came from Texas to visit me! But he was kinda' a weirdo! :D

I actually did Match.com for a bit when I lived in Chicago. I had a blast with it and met TONS of interesting people. No romantic connections, but made some awesome friends that I'm still very close friends w/. In fact there are 2 whole groups of friends that I would never have known had it not been for one of the dates I went on.

I wouldn't be married to DH if I hadn't met his sister 10 years ago (!:eek:!) on a People.com message board chatting about hot boys in their Most Eligible Bachelor magazine. :king:
