They ruined DL's Small World how much longer before they ruin ours?

Well they have added the Disney charcters to Disneyland's It's a Small World. When do you think WDW's will become a celebration of corprate synergy?:fork:

The youtube video and photos say it all.:fork:

So you are basing your anger off YouTube and photos? Of course the photos/videos are going to focus on the new characters but I don't think anyone can make a opinion how it is until they ride through the thing and see the big picture.

What ever happened to people reserving judgement until they actually ride something?

I have ridden the DL Small World and the photos and video sum up the major changes and the changes are incompatible with the theme of the ride.

Reserving judgement around here doesn't exist... When there is an announcement about something, less than an e-ticket, right away the bashing begins... Of course, once the show/attraction opens, opinions tend to change...

As far as small world goes, I saw pictures and the characters do not look horrible in there at all...

I'm totally in favor of it.
The characters are small and unobtrusive. Might just breathe some life into a stale attraction.
I know I won't ride it until they put them in at MK. Sooner the better.

It does not matter how they look they are not the children of the world and they have no place in the attraction

Well, they are representing the countries the stories take place in, sorta anyway... And the characters are represented as children, so, they are children of the world.... Not like they are portraying the ADULT version of the characters in the middle of a bunch of kids...

But they're characters that the children of the world can identify with in an attraction that contains many more factors they CAN'T.

Or not.....
I completely disagree. No average guest gives a rat's about any message that may or may not exist in that ride. It's a bunch of dolls, representing the countries of the world, all singing a repetitive, almost hypnotic song.:snore:

This is the most positive thing that could happen to that ride. Now it might be interesting for a demographic above toddler. Maybe.
