Here are the details about the movie linked above:
Format: IMA 4:1, Mono, 22.050 kHz
H.264, 400 x 300, Millions
FPS: 29.96
Data Size: 4.70 MB
Data Rate: 468.93 kbits/s
Duration: 0:00:01:24.17
Now I can see why they used QuickTime. It has the most matured support for H.264 video, and doesn't hog the CPU like Flash. The QT Player is quite stripped down unless you enable QT Pro. However, if you do have QT Pro, this video could simply have its audio changed from IMA 4:1 to AAC LC, and away it goes to your iPod. So, they made a good choice. It is in a format that can be changed and pulled apart with ease. I don't know why they went with IMA 4:1 in place of AAC, but maybe they used a hardware H.264 encoder that didn't support AAC, but that would be really strange. But, it does the job, and plays better than Flash for frame rate and file size. Clarity isn't bad, but it is only the first step. Now they just need to make a 720p version available.

I was disappointed on our last visit in August that the email photo service was not even operational. You could take your pic, but that was it. We'll be down 2/3 I'll check it out again.
Isn't there somewhere in Innoventions where you can email a photo home as well? :shrug:

Ah, finally they let you send video. I thought that was a bit odd when I did it last visit. Yeah, the picture is nice, but the video is better. Nice to see them add that. :sohappy:

Yer, I remember it was like that for at least a month when JIIWF reopened after its small rehab. Then all of a sudden the feature was brought back, but just never seems to work.
I have reported it countless times to Guest Relations but still as far as I am aware nothing has been done about it.
As to Innoventions, you are correct, the IBM sections allows you to also send somethings home.
