Do we have had POTC HM A horrible TOT movie and Mr. Toads Wild ride (I think that is all of them). Do you see any other attractions being made into films? I'm not talking about low budget ToT more like POTC. What attraction do you think could be made into a good movie?

I could possibaly see a Jungle Cruise film being made!

Personally, I'm not a fan of making a movie out of an attraction. If I had to pick one though, it would be Kilimanjaro Safari... :D

It would be nice to see movies based off the very few attractions that aren't tied into a movie, however, the attraction will then lose it's uniqueness. POTC did well, and because of that, they changed the ride to be based off the movie, which was based off the original ride. Now, imagine if they had the nerve to add several Eddie Murphey characters at HM? Yeah, good thing they didn't, because no matter how much they think that was a great movie, it wasn't. Now, with all the movies based off of attractions, most of them stunk horribly. As much as it would be cool to see a movie based off your favorite ride, Jungle Cruise, or Alien Encounter, think to yourself "Is this something that I really want to see, or become disappointed in as the movies based off Haunted Mansion or Tower of Terror?

From what I understand a movie based on the Jungle Cruise is already in the works.

The film has been in development for years. Multiple scripts have been writen, but Disney has not given the project a green light for production. It's still in development, but things are going very slow. Of course Disney could be developing it in secret like TR2N and 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea: Captain Nemo.:lookaroun

As for future films based on attractions, I'd love to see an Expedition Everest movie, or maybe an Enchanted Tiki Room movie.

I liked the "look honey, they've got dead people in the backyard" line

A horrible TOT movie

wasn't that the other way around? .. was the ride already build when that movie came out ? :veryconfu

Don't laugh, there's a rumored movie in the works based off "Tomorrowland"

wasn't tomorrowland part of the future in the "Meet the Robinsons" movie ?

I believe that Mr. Toad's ride was also based off the movie release with Ichabod Crane, released on October 5, 1949.

Just a point-of-fact.

Perhaps Splash Mountain would make a good movie....oh wait....:brick:

Ride came out first, and then the horrible made-for-TV movie.

Not really, just Space Mountain and calling it "Todayland" only lasted for a couple seconds. I have no idea what "Tomrrowland" movie will be about, but was rumored to feature Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in it. Maybe if they retheme Cosmic Ray's to this movie, you bet you can "smell what the Rock is cookin' ;) "

Yeah yeah, I know, that was lame, but just lame enough Disney would be crazy enough to do something like that. :hammer:

Didnt they make a live action Mr. Toad

Actually, they did. It was entitled "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride"....maybe '95 or '96? I know it had some classic Monty Python stars in it. I forgot about that one. I seem to remember it being pretty awful though. At least the animated one was entertaining!
