Can JP or any other 'insiders' confirm that with the new dining window if they're still honoring the +10 if you have an existing room reservation with Disney? Or is it straight up 90 days period and have to call back every day for ressies?

According to my Disney Travel Agency rep:

"Q5. What is the booking window for Guests with future resort reservations at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel?

Effective December 23, 2008, the timeframe for booking dining, recreation and tours experiences will transition to a 90-day window and add an extra 10-days to the booking window to accommodate for future resort reservations with arrival dates at the 90-day mark."

Okay excuse my stupidity here, but you're saying if we have current room reservations we can book at 100 days out?

Again sorry if I'm being dense here. :(

In a since yes, if that reservation is at a Disney resort. You can start booking your dining 90 days prior to your arrival date and can book up to ten days worth of dining on said date. Exceptions will be CRT, Chef Mickey and I believe V&A which you are still able to book at the 180 day mark.

That is basically correct, but not worded right--if you have a reservation at a Disney Resort where you will check in 90 days from today, you can book dining up to 100 days from now--so if you arrive 90 days from now for a week at Disney, you can book dining for your ENTIRE vacation--you don't have to call back every day for a week to make a reservation--it creates a perk for resort guests and decreases costs at the WDW-DINE line.

No, if you are staying at a WDW resort, you can call 90 days out and make 10 days worth of ADR's.

If you are offsite, you need to call back each day, 90 days before.

In other words, if Apr 1 was 90 days from Jan 1, you could call on Jan 1 and make ADR's from Apr 1 - Apr 10.

If you were offsite, you'd need to call back on Jan 1, Jan 2, Jan 3, etc.

Well it wasn't rocket science but there was a little math involved:

I don't understand why they didn't just make CRT, Chef Mickey's, and V&A's move to the 90-day window, too. This system is just too confusing for anyone who isn't obsessed with WDW like us. Oh well, if you aren't obsessed with WDW, you shouldn't be allowed in those 3 restaurants, anyway. You haven't earned it yet.

So lets say youre staying 12 days like me...Do I have to call back when my 11th day matches up with 90 days until that point?

Would they have to wait until the 11th day or the 2nd and 3rd days? The second day + 10 would be day 11, and the 3rd day + 10 would be day 12?

I spoke to a CM yesterday and was told that by mid-January all dining will be 180 days.

That's right baby! Dining at any of those locations will be like having an impromptu Disney intraweb meet. :lookaroun

Unless things have changed yet again they might be a bit misinformed, which is not uncommon for most front line CMs. Mid January was one of the original dates where everything was supposed to go back to 180 days after the big software update but per Steve and JP, who I know will have the latest greatest info, (especially JP in this arena) have stated that the 180 day window has been reduced to 90 days save for the 3 exceptions.

As long as we're on the topic of reservations...can you call Disney Dining and make reservations for T-Rex? I know when I was there in October they weren't taking ANY reservations. Are they taking them now, and can you book them through Disney, or do you have to call their restaurant directly?

I think they are after June 19th.
