I've seen the LMA:ESS a couple times now and while I thought it was amazing the first time, the second time it wasn't so great. Once you know exactly what happens second by second, it looses its luster.
I noticed that there was a short referb a while back, does anyone know if there was any change to the show at all?

I don't get why this show can't change every year or so to keep it fresh. I'm sure these professional stunt men can think up something new...

The refurb back in September was due to new asphalt being put down. The refurb was extended a few days because it wasn't drying as quickly as it should have been.

I'm not sure if anything else was done then, but that was the main reason for the refurb.

I saw the show for the 1st time in December. It was OK - it was HOT HOT HOT and I was miserable sitting in a theater with a thousand other people on HOT benches. I do not have to see it again. I liked the Backlot tour where you could see the Golden Girls house (I LOVE THAT SHOW).. but they destroyed the residential neighborhood for this crap. But again, they have to appeal to the new generation and the new generation probally do not even know what Golden Girls is.

Its not worth a repeat visit. The stunt performers seem to be better in Paris and the nonsense of filming a movie is just cringe worthy. A waste of land and to be honest the street stunt show they put on during the Indiana Jones refurb was far more entertaining.

Have to agree - although that could be said about any of Disneys attractions (once you know exactly what happens....) this one just isn't worth sitting through again

What I think makes it exciting the first time around is the fact that they do some pretty awesome stunts and it's really exciting when you see it the first time around. It's one of those shows that's supposed to be thrilling. However, when you see that the next year it's the exact same thing, it's just not as interesting and not thrilling at all.

I could see the other shows at WDW over and over again (Beauty and the Beast, Finding Nemo, Festival of the Lion King, Little Mermaid, etc.) and they still feel good to watch. LMA just doesn't seem interesting after the first time.

The show is not worth a second or first look in my opinion. It is time Disney gives up on the whole "we are filming for a moive" plot. That aspect makes the show extremely choppy, which hurts it greatly.

I have seen it about 4 or 5 times. I end up going with other people.

I agree, it really has no "re-ride" attraction for me. I don't hate it, but for the time it takes - waiting in queue, then the show, then the shuffling masses on exit, it really is not worth it to me.

If you're not a car guy/gal maybe you don't have the repeat urge to see this attraction again and again. To those that love the sweet sound of an engine at rpm, riders and drivers doing close quarter cadence, it's okay, you don't have to 'get-it' (so move along to something else) but please be respectful of us that enjoy this sort or thing. :)

We've never seen the Lights, Motors, Action Stunt show and we have no desire to. We get enough 'action' driving to and from work on the Beltway around the DC area...Traffic, speeders, no turn signals, cars cutting in and out, etc., etc.

Having driven in Italy for years the stunt show is neither stunt nor show:goodnevil

I agree with the disdain expressed over the bogus movie filming. I once saw one of the hosts of the "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" attraction playing the part of the directer in the stunt show about a month later. Totally hokey!

I "get-it" but its the same thing over and over again. And as others have said, the "filming a movie" aspect of it gets old very quickly (as in 5 minutes into the first viewing of it)

I gotta agree about the filming part. I don't see any point of it. Also, the thing where they bring a kid down to only not let him use the remote anyway, terrible. You can see that the kid looks all confused and kind of embarrassed.

Just let us have a cool stunt show and change it up once a year and I'll be happy. I'm sure these people doing the stunts are getting paid decent money and they seem to be quite talented at what they do. So change it up. Do something different.

It's like watching one of those "who done it" kind of movies. Once you know what happens and who did it, you don't have much of a desire to see it again.

I kind of agree. The show was sooo awesome the first time. (8/07) When we saw it again, (8/08) it was the exact same show and it wasn't as great because we knew what to expect. Our nephew was with us the second time so we wanted him to see it. He loved it, too. Our 4 year old loved it both times, however.

I don't think I will see it again when we go this summer unless the stunts have changed and my mom wants to see it (she'll be joining us this time--her first WDW visit). I, too, agree that it should be updated every year. They are professionals, they can change it. I'm sure it would cost a lot for a redo, but it may be worth it.

Everyone has their own opinions, of course, but to berate the attraction because it's "the same every time" is just ridiculous in my opinion. Almost every single attraction on property is the same every time you ride it. Last time I checked Peter Pan still flies over London .... ha.

At any rate, I respect everyone's opinion so you can think what you like. I've seen LMA several times now and have loved it every time but to each their own. It would be better if they changed up the show, of course, but I definitely feel it's better than the old backlot tour where you just drove around and looked at old set pieces (BLT version 2).

At least most of the `camerawork` in LMA is real - for the LED screen. Indy has to be the joke for false filming. Especially if you know what you are looking at ;)

Well I still like LMA every time as well as Indiana Jones (I like to look around before hand and try to fin the guy in the Hawian shirt, sort of like a real life Where's Waldo).

So I'm going to be one of those people who keeps going and killing the possibility of a story change.

I would like to point out something regarding the suggestion of changing the stunts once a year. That would be a lot of time and expense in retraining etc. every year for a show that still has a lot of people seeing it for the first time or only once every couple of years.

Y'all keep up hope though, maybe it will change one day.
