Holiday versions of Toy Story Mania?

So when this ride was being built, either I thought i read or just thought to myself that it should be incredibly easy to give the ride holiday "makeovers"...

Any idea if they would plan to do this, maybe after it's been there for another year?

Either 2009 or 2010 for Anaheim ... for WDW ... no plans at all.

I can understand why they wouldn't want to have the cost of converting Haunted Mansion, but this seems so simple if they're going to do it at DCA.

That was the talk....but with it still holding hour plus waits "if it ain't broke why fix it" comes to mind. They will keep it as it is for a few years then when the waits start to die down, that is when you will see the new themeing come into play.

My old cordinator who was from DL said that it was because people from all over the world go to WDW but its mainly locals who go to DL so the holiday ride things give them reasons to come back more.

That is a HUGE if, right now DCA (not DL) is not scheduled for any changes to TSMM any time soon. Right now we have a few bigger projects that are being worked on.

Disney needs all the draws it can get now, IMHO.

That's not true, if the Holiday Makeover happens in the upcoming years (Which, heck. At this point EVERYTHING looks unlikely.) it WILL come to WDW's too, WDI made sure that programming changes could be installed at WDW as well overnight. Trust me, if it happens at all, don't count WDW out.

Yep, I saw a lot of them a few weeks ago when I was down. They even had that expensive potato head shirt for like $20.
