Would this be the same technology that was used during this performance by Taylor Swift?

It's towards the very end of the performance. :)

More than likely. But it's too bad that with all that technology for that song that the lighting designers couldn't light the water correctly. :zipit: Lights need to be placed directly nect to the water facing downward.

I saw a production of Singing in the Rain locally about 7 years ago by a theatre who spent tons of money on buying a rain set. Sadly it could barely be seen due to poor lighting. The effect was ruined.

I think you could put it between two big sheets of glass with LED's from the top and bottom and it would look fantastic. To Disney: feel free to use this idea if you want. Like they havent already thought of it, duh.

If the company won`t pay, they don`t play. Sponsors are just that - they sponsor their own exhibits.

why does Disney need sponsors, with all the money it brings in on attendance alone please correct me if i'm wrong but it seems epcot solely relies on it sponsors for rides etc else they let it die a slow death like wonders of life, yet all other Disney parks like MK or AK and HS don't have many sponsors and still they do fine

surely Disney could do a deal with the company's to show off there new technology's after all its in best interest for both Disney and company trying to get there product shown. look at the segway.

This is some great technology!

Disney should do something similiar.
Perhaps they could have a semi-open area with 500 or so seats so people walking from Disney's Market Place to The West End could sit and watch it and get cooled off from the over splash of the water.
Perhaps they could put it around the area where the Adventurers Club used to be. (Speaking in the future tense of course)
It could be like an open air stage and only covered by 3 sides so you could watch it as you walk by or sit if you preferred.

Voyage of the Little Mermaid anyone? What about the newly preposed mermaid ride?

DOH ya beat me to it lol...

The thing is Disney believe that effects should have a valid reason for being in an attraction or area, just adding an effect because its cool, neat or new, just wont do.

Plus while this is a nice effect, its all about its application, it created alot of noise with the water hitting the catchment pool etc, and can create splashes too. In the right place yes this would be cool. But i dont want Disney to add effects just because they are cool.

How about the serpentine fountain by Imagination? Or the fountain that the little kids spalsh and play in?

They don't really serve a purpose..they're just cool. And by cool I mean both ways...they're cool to look at and they cool ya down.

Sometimes it's nice to have entertainment BETWEEN attractions and I think this would be just the thing.
