Magical Journeys Travel Agent

Has anyone out there used the travel agent "Magical Journeys" to help plan any vacation stay at Disney. I'm not sure I would like the idea of not being able to just pick up the phone and talk to a CM !! Shout back at us with any helpful info.

Although I've never used Magical Journeys, I have been using a Disney "Earmarked" agency, Kingdom Konsultant, for years. They are a sponsor of WDWMagic and can be reached at: http://www.kingdomkonsultant.com or 866-566-7858. The folks at Kingdom Konsultant are awesome and have always met or exceeded my expectations.

As for not talking with a CM - that's not an issue for me. I enjoy the convenience of calling or e-mailing KK and letting them handle all of my reservations. They even monitor your reservations and will proactively apply a discount if one is announced after you booked. Have a great trip :wave:!

I would agree with Imamouse in that I would use Kingdom Konsultants with no hesitation. While it is fun to talk with a CM, to have the same people to follow up with, make changes, additions, have them follow up and get back to you with better deals when they come available is a service you just can't get from Disney direct.

Now, I'm sure there are other great agents, although you would want them to be "Earmarked" which is a special certification BY Disney, recognizing their expertise in dealing with Disney vacations. Find someone you are comfortable with and stick with them. To have that number to call in an emergency and know they have a vested interest in making it right is a great luxury.

We used yourmagicaljourneys.com in '07 and had absolutely no problems, they were great! I enjoy having someone else do all the work for me :lol:

But I agree, shop around and find an agent you're comfortable with and go with them =)

The Disney Earmarked Program is for agencies that have a proven sales record in selling Disney Destinations as well as having a staff that is more than 50% College of Disney Knowledge graduates. They also have to promise to recommend Disney as a family vacation destination before any others.

I use TerriSue at Magical Journey everytime we go to Disney and she is AWSOME!!!! We tried to use Kingdom Konsultants one time, but they never returned my emails. We tried a few times through emails but never got a response. I hear they are great but never really had a chance to use them.

That is very odd that you did not get a response because we always answer our e-mails within 24 hours. We try to do it the same day if it is possible. What e-mail address did you write to? Are you sure the response was not caught in your spam mail folder? We have run into that with some clients.

Pam has always been "johnnie-on-the-spot" for us. She really helped us when a last second hiccup occurred. If I were going to use an agent again, Pam can't be beat.

Kingdom Konsultants all the way!! I will be booking my future trip to wdw with them from now on. I just had them book this years trip and everythings has been a breeze. They are great with e-mail responses! I've never had a problem with that at all. You will not be disappointed at all!
