Does anyone have any info on Disneyland resort paris? We will be in Holland for 2 weeks next summer and we may try and go over to Paris to see Disney. I have been to Disneyland CA and WDW I want to try and go to all Disney parks one day. Any help would be great!

Thanks in advance.

You won`t regret it - you`ll see why DLP Parc is called the best one.

Both parks in the summer in one day - even just D and E Rides - is pushing it a bit though.

Its a great resort and although it IMO it doesn't quite match up to WDW overall, it does have some brilliant rides (BTMRR is amazing at DLP) and it's a beautiful place.

To get the most out of it you will want 2 or 3 days and I highly recommend staying on site. The ability to walk to your hotel in 5 minutes or less is a huge plus to me.

Hi. I hope you you will visit this park beause it's great (espacially the Magic Kingdom because Walt Disney Studios et great but less than the other.) You can't really visit all in one day because you you know it's big.
Be carefull because some of attractions will be close because of rehabs (espacially May and June.) I'll go there the next Tuesday(to take my passport) and in 3 weeks again so I'm very excited. If you are ane questions or if you want have any information, I'm here.:animwink:.

Hi,
I have come back from visiting Disneyland Paris two days ago, I would definetly recommend 3 - 4 days if you inteneded to do everything, or if you were only planning on doing parts I would suggest 2 - 3 days and if you can stay in a Disney Hotel, I would suggest doing that so then you get around easier to and from the hotel and get things like Extra Magic Hours as the park has been quite crowded over the last week when I was there.

The parc disneyland is great thunder mountain and space mountain are better than their counterparts at wdw especially space mountain. I would also recommend staying there for at least 3 days 2 nights we did this last october and managed to do everything we wanted to do cept peterpan as it was over 1 hours wait and the fast passes were not until about 8.30 at night and this was at about 11.30. however we walked straight onto POTC all the time we were there. Just be prepared to queue and to experience queue jumping as the french really do not understand the concept of a queue or at least the ones who were there when we were there didn't  If you're going in the summer be prepared to stand in queues for a long time it can get extremely busy.

Yeah I liked how you got straight on PoTC and never had to wait much even if there was a long queue as the ride was constantly moving.

Like I am sorry to you nice French people here, but the French and other European people were so rude they just pushed pass and were so rude.

Also, if you want a visit to Paris for the day just do not use Cityrama you are asking for a disaster.

And like Adrian has said, it is already very busy and sometimes you can wait for a long time to get on one attraction.

yeah we waited for over an hour to go on thunder mountain in the day and as i said b4 it was in october which i think is low season, however that was partially due to fact that it kept breaking down inlcuding when we were on it i think we spend bout 1 hour on it in total coz it got stuck as the mirco switches on the breaks kept tripping and then they had to reset it and stuff. not trying to put you off it is a great place and you would enjoy it, its just the queues can get very very long be prepared to wait up to and over 1 hour for the most popular attractions and rides apart from PoTC and Phantom manor as their line move relatively quickly The best place for info is probably the disneyland paris site www.disneylandparis.com hope this helps

Yeah, it is a amazing place, but prepare to queue, but it probably goes like that for WDW aswell, sometimes Buzz Lightyear Lazer Blast would move fast as it was a constant on going ride just like PoTC too.

By whom? But I have a more important question. As you are a lot more into the topic, do you know what expansions (New parks, attractions, etc)where actually already planned for DLP to be built and then halted, cancelled or delayed due to the initial attendance problems?

By many :D

Scrapped projects? Disney-MGM Europe, Beauty & the Beast show, Voyage of the Little Mermaid (original ride), Jungle Jeep, Indiana Jones Temple Trains, Discovery Mountain - to name a few.

That's a lot. What was Discovery Mountain? And where is the difference between the Walt Disney Studios they built and Disney-MGM?

Discovery Mountain was the original Discoverland Moutain. Twice as big as Space, with a coaster, freefall ride (predating ToT) and Nemos undersea restaurant (with indoor Nautilus) - and with aerial links to Star Tours and Hyperion. The Hyperion still has the circular windows on the upper level that would have carried the walkways.

Disney-MGM Europe, when complete, would have been 4-6 times the size of WDSP. Full production stages, many rides from Orlando, the D Tracey EMV to name a few - and its own separate toll plaza, parking lot and parking trams.

Do you have any links where I can read more about this topic?

I visited DLP 10-15 years ago, and DW was 7 mo pregnant, so we were limited, but we liked what we saw a lot. It's been greatly expanded since then as well. I would think that if you are going, unless you had just specific things in mind to see, or just wanted an overview experience, it would take 2 days at a minimum.

However, if you are going to be in Holland, and you shoot over to Paris, it would be a shame not to see PARIS ITSELF. It's very beautiful, you know. There are many wonderful things to see in this city. It's one of the most beautiful places in the world - even without DLP. Just a suggestion.

DLP + WDW's castle and Splash + TDL's maintenance and Hunny Hunt = greatest Disney Park EVER. ;)

Yes! Don't miss the city itself!
