Fastpass Strategy?

We are going to Disneyworld in July and love the fastpass option. Sometimes we fastpass Splash Mountain and do Thunder Mt. and sometimes vice versa. What are some of your "fastpass" strategies for each of the parks? Soarin' is new since we've been last. Should we fastpass it and go to Test Track? Should we fastpass Aerosmith and ride Tower?
Any advice would be welcome. What works for you? :veryconfu

I would deffinitly fastpass soarin, expedition everest and rock n roller coaster, and use the single riders line for test track if you can (so much faster!!!!)....we deffinitly waited like 2 hours to get rock n roller coaster (even if you think the line isnt bad, it is SOOO long inside so dont let that fool you lol), do expedition everest as early as you can, and then fastpass it as well so you can ride it twice, and just fast pass soarin and go hit the other rides until your fast pass time. After 2 hours i was actually a tad dissapointed with soarin, but i think that may just be me because everyone else seemed to love it lol It was late and i was grumpy lol I shall give it a chance to redeem itself this coming August :D

Fastpass Soarin', for sure!!! Actually, if you're there early enough, get your Soarin' fastpass, then ride it! If it works out right, you should exit the ride very close to the time on your fastpass, so you'll get to experience it pretty much twice in a row. It's great!

I agree with getting a fast past for Soarin. However I highly suggest that you get to EPCOT right as it opens and RUN to soarin and get your FP. FP's for Soarin go veryfast. After you get to FP head over to Test Track.

Another tip for EPCOT is if you love meeting with characters go to the character spot. Granted there maybe a long line but keep in mind that it's a fun way to kill time and it's also air conditioned.

Great minds think alike! We did the same exact thing on our last trip. Worked like a charm!

I walk faster than my family, so I walk ahead and get fastpasses for Buzz Lightyear then catch up to my family as they get into line for Space Mountain. At Epcot, I don't ride Mission: SPACE, so while they ride I get fast passes for Soarin'. Then we all ride Test Track together. By then it's time to use the Soarin' fast pass. It works great for us. I went ahead of them at Animal Kingdom also so we could get fast passes for Expedition Everest. We rode using the stand-by line then only had to wait a few minutes to use our fast passes. Or sons are still too young for us to be comfortable using the single-rider lines, so we rely on fast passes.

For Soarin', FP right away and then ride right away. They post a 70 minute wait first thing, but it's never that long. We can usually get two rides in before our FP time.

Agree with above get Soarin' FP right away and get in line. We did not get one in time in February and we waited well over 90 minutes.
At DHS (before TSM, that will change our plans) we always raced to RnRC, rode it once got FP, rode again (depending on line) then rode ToT.
We Always get a FP for Peter Pan & Pooh at MK too.

ALWAYS get a Rock 'n' Rollercoaster Fastpass over a Tower Fastpass.

RnRc almost always has a longer line, so your best bet upon arriving to the park is to grab a Fastpass for it and then head over to Tower and wait in the standby line. Theres a good chance you'll have time to ride two or three times until your RnRc fastpass is valid.

I agree with the RnRC comments. We get a fastpass first thing in the morning, then wait in the standby line for ToT. The line is usually never bad in the morning, so we ride it once or twice, then hit the Great Movie Ride before heading back to RnRC before lunch. Like others have mentioned, FP for Soarin' is a must, as it is for Splash Mountain.

That's because there are so many fraidy cats like me that are terrified of ToT but ride RnRC.... :lookaroun

I definitely agree with this statement. In the morning we always get fastpasses for RnRc and then ride Tower. I'd also recommend getting fastpasses for Splash Mountain and Soarin'.

I always get a Fastpass for TOT, standby TOT 2 times, get another Fastpass for TOT, use the first Firstpass to ride TOT, standby TOT 2 more times, than use my second Fastpass...I might have a problem though :lookaroun

^ Well I dunno, I've spent god knows how many hours working at it, and ridden it hundreds of times, and I'm still not sick of it either!

Then again, I'm pretty sure I do have a problem, though.

Personally

I honestly believe that it is how you do it best. Like my family we open up the parks and close them and leave during the middle of the day. We still fastpass ,but normally we dont need to. When i open MK i just go to splash mountain ride it like 4 times go to Space and ride it twice then laster on in the night while hte parades about to go on hop on whatever you want. =D of course you will want to see the parade once when you go. Its really however you feel works better for you everyone does different things.

Best fastpass strategy?

hmm...

I there's the get the Jungle Cruise FP, then Pirates and maybe SFT or Tiki Room, then back to JC.
Or there's the get the Soarin' FP, then eat at Sunshine Seasons and ride LWtL then Soarin'.
Or there's the get Space Mountain FP, then ride Buzz and TTA (SGE if I must), then back to SM.
Or there's often-said the RnRC and ToT combo...

SO many options...
