We were online for Big Thunder Mountain and it was over cast skies but it looked like it was nothing, well, we get on the inside platform and still it was fine out, we get on the ride and away we go, up , up , up and you know when you are just coming up through that "mountain" and you can see the sky? Well, we saw nothing but a sheet of water and I look at my husband and I say "When did they add water to this ride?" and he was just still looking straight ahead and says "they didn't" and then...... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!!! We rode the entire BTM ride in a torrential downpour! The rain was just whipping us in the face, everyone was screaming, I mean it was a sheet of water coming from the sky like a hurricane!

Well, we get to the end of the ride and you know how the train goes back inside to the platform? The look on the next riders faces was absolutely PRICELESS! we were all SOAK to our underwear! We just stood up, gestured down to the puddles in the seats and said "Have a nice ride!"

The cast members were hysterical laughing as we all sloshed by them.

Looking back now, 6 years later this is funny! We were having breakfast at O'hana and Mickey had just made his round to our table. We were all taking picutres of him visiting with my then 4 yr old neice when my then 2 yr old neice hopped out of her booster (without anyone noticing) and ran behind poor Mickey. Mickey stepped back and had no idea she was there and fell backwards ontop of her! She was O.K. but to this day remembers it clearly. When we watch the video it is so funny (now) because you can see the struggle the poor person in the costume is having trying to catch their balance and not fall! Thank goodness she was fine! (just slight mental trauma! :p)

Our first trip when DD was 3, we were having breakfast @ the Contemporary our last morning. I was sitting with my back to the room, and I guess Tigger was sneaking up on my in an exaggerated manner. DH & DD could see him coming, but didn't warn me. When he grabbed my shoulders, I jumped & yelled and just about fell out of my chair. Everyone around me just cracked up, including Tigger! We still talk about it over 15 years later!!

HAHAHAHA I am going to do that next time!
I can't think of the funniest or funnest moment because I am the most indecisive person on the planet but we had a moment on our last trip. We were on CoP and the first scene ended and...nothing happened. The music started playing but we didn't move. So we had to sit through the same scene again. It was funny but not hilarious, I know but it was funny.

There are so many to choose from, falling out of a sea raycer comes to mind.

However, on our last family trip we were at a character meal and Chip and Dale were there. My father has always had trouble identifying the characters and he was trying to figure out the difference between them. Dale was standing behind me without my knowledge and we told my dad that Dale had a red nose and I also blurted out that Dale was the stupid one. I quickly felt a tap on my shoulder and when I turned around Dale was standing there with his hands on his hips as if to say "who are you calling stupid". I turned red and I apologized and everyone busted out laughing.

i have so many,.
this last trip my family and my best friends family went to both crt and 100pf. when we were eating dinner the stepsister came up and forced my boyfriend(which happens to be both my best friends brother) to propose. for a joke i get all, u cant do that thats my boyfriend. she got all huffy puffy and stormed out of the rest.(as a joke) when she "cooled off" she told my bf if things dont work out , here is her number. ( it was a fake one of course) for another joke i ripped it up and told her, never going to happen.
then when we were going to bed, my best friends anna and ela were in our own room. at about 4 in the morning, we were sleeping after comeing back from pleasure island when i heard the wake up call, i fell out of bed hitting my head on the dresser. I picked it up and it was mickey . after. i hugged the dresser thinking it was mickey and saying how much i love mickey and how he was a huge icon of my childhood. my friends recorded it...it was hilarious.

another one i saw a nun from school waiting for the tower of terror. she was in full nun apperal with a bunch of nuns who were in for a convention. after talking about how our trips had been so far, and if i went to mass on sunday. after she asked how my father could have let me out with an a&F t-shirt with a minni skirt(that had shorts underneath) and crocs. She asked if i wanted to go shopping with her for appropriate vacation cloths. i saw her again at the beach club pool ( that were we and the nuns coinsidently were staying) and asked how my dad allowed me to wear a bikini that showed my belly button. she handed me a towel and demanded i cover it up. i got up, ran away, and when i saw her again, i just ran away. Now during our winter, spring, and summer vacation assemblies, she gives us the lowdown on what is and isnt appropriate vacation apperal. to make matters worse she uses me and example(with out my name)

Happened to us on Aladdin! Wasn't painful, but as soon as the ride got going, these huge fat drops started to fall and we got soaked through to the skin! Everyone was screaming and laughing and I swear the CM let the ride gon on for longer than it was supposed to!

One of my family's faves was from a trip when I was 14. I was doing the usual moody teenager, arms folded, scowling, bored (we were waiting for the train to go past) when there was a tap on my shoulder and when I turned, all seven dwarves were behind me, all with their arms folded like me. I ended up being spun around and danced with all of them. That was a good day and I've loved the dwarves since then!

first and last trips...

On my very first trip to Disney at 17 I went with my best friend Tim, we were on peter pan and he wanted to point out tink so that I wouldn't miss her, and in doing so poked me in the eye so I missed almost all of the ride... We went back a year later and in telling the story to my husbnad who was my boyfriend at the time, I accidentally poked Tim in the eye and he missed most of the ride...

Last week when we were at WDW I took my sister on Splash Mountain and I told her you rarely get wet, well of course we get soaked... It was Evening Magic Hours so it was like 1 AM and we had the giggles, she kept asking, "is this a drop?" and I thought she was saying "is this THE drop?" so I kept saying no, and then we'd drop and she'd scream and I'd laugh... I want to go back!!!

Well- it all started with a torrential downpour while we were exiting AK on a tram. Oh yeah- did I mention we forgot where we parked the car? Picture my DH and I (who incidentally both wear glasses that we couldn't see out of) trying to find our car in this downpour. We then lost each other- all the while screaming a la the scene from Brady Bunch in the Grand Canyon - Bobby? Cindy?

End of story- we eventually found the car and each other.
Moral of the story- remember where you parked. (Row and section)

The funniest moment I've ever had happened several years ago outside of The Seas. Nemo was out, and my daughters wanted to get a picture with him. Near him, was some "coral," and with my younger daughter's back turned, the coral reached out, grabbed her hat, and hid it inside itself. Poor daughter, she turned around and had the most confused look on her face, not able to figure out where it went. She ran over to Nemo's attendent, (With the coral walking behind her *Grins*) and shouts, hands on hips, "THAT THING TOOK MY HAT!" The attendent is getting close to cracking up, and does when my daughter turned around, saw the coral RIGHT behind her. She screamed, and clutched onto the attendent. The hat came out, and the coral walked back to the wall.

*laughs* The rest of the trip, before she got into line, she'd look for "Alive Things."
