When was your First time when you really felt the MAGIC ?

For me it was when I worked at the Disney Store and I was told that inside the tiles in the front of the store was Florida. That it was as much the park as an American embassy is America. Hokey right ? Not to me I was a High Schooler and had dreams of working at WDW. This was like having that job and still living at home. I also meet my wife at the store. That is still Magical.

When DS was 6 months old, we were in MK, shopping at the Emporium, he was sleeping in his stroller. I grabbed one of the giant stuffed Mickey's and called his name. He opened his eyes a bit and when he saw that mouse, his eyes almost popped out of his head and he had an instant smile from ear to ear. He grabbed on and would not let go. There was a CM that saw the whole thing and she said, "if you don't buy it for him, I WILL!" Mickey still sits in DS room (he's now almost 6), and gets to hear all of his secrets :zipit:. It was so magical for me to know that I passed it on :sohappy:

We took my son for the first time when he was 5. He was so excited. We started the morning with Mickey pancakes. He was thrilled that his pancakes were in the shape of Mickey. He was all decked out in his Stitch shirt and Mickey ears and after breakfast we went directly to the Magic Kingdom. Even though he had seen the vacation dvd and guidebooks and tv shows, when we entered MK and he stood and faced the castle he was in such awe. He stood for a moment and looked ahead and it was MAGIC.

I was extremely young and on Peter Pan's flight for the first time. I don't remember much of the ride (or the trip, for that matter)- but I do remember my mom pointing out that the track was about to end. When we went out the window I really believed we were flying. It was one of my favorite moments ever and I'll be sure to point out the end of the track when we take our daughter for her first time.

How about my first time at MILF? :ROFLOL::ROFLOL: (for those not in the know, that's Monster's Inc Laugh Floor, not Stifler's mom).

But seriously, I can't remember my actual first time, but I can relate a story from my last trip back in 2006. It was my three year old son's, and my husband's first trip since 1985 (so he might as well have been a complete newbie). We had just arrived at WDW in the early afternoon, and we headed over to the Studios for a quick park experience. We were at ToT, and our son was tall enough to be in line but not tall enough to ride. While hubby was riding, our son and I were taken down a stairway to the exit area. A CM suddenly came out holding a small version of the CM outfit - a coat and hat, and the name tag on the coat said Junior Bellhop. The CM pointed us to the elevator exit where my husband would soon appear. Whent he doors opened, the CMs had my son say "Welcome Back." It was so cute, and it was such a surprise for my husband.

This was such an awesome way to start out trip! And I definitely felt the magic. It is one of my husband's favorite memories.

Mine was one of the first nights of my CP. My roomies & I had just gotten our ID's so we decided to spend the evening at MK (we hadn't had a chance to get to the parks yet). We decided to enter as CMs, parked back in the employee lot and used the tunnels for the first time. We randomly picked a door to go "upstairs" into the parks, and it was the one right by the wishing well at the base of the castle. It was dark so the castle was all lit up, and we all just stood there together for a couple of minutes oooing and ahhhing about what an amazing experience we were about to have. Was very magical

In the fall of 2004, we flew down from Canada. My DD and I had never been to a US park, and my wife had been growing up. We bought AP's before I had ever been inside a WDW park.

But the magical memory for me was our arrival night, we went to Downtown Disney. I remember my 14 month old playing in the fountains over near the bus stop. There was a light rain falling and she was having the time of her life. That was before she even set foot in the parks!

Her 11th trip starts in two days :wave:

At a friends house when his parents were out of town. Magical at the time, but looking back, I feel that it was a mistake. . . Too young.

As for WDW Magic, I wish I could say it was the moment we set foot in the MK, but it really hit me when we saw Wishes for the first time.

there is so many. but the first one that comes to mind is on our trip for spring break (march '08). we were were waiting for our time for dinner with cinderella at grand floridian. I was with my parents, best friends, and cousins. I am the unltra girly girl and was all like, omg i luv this song, it makes me feel like a princess, the song was a beauty and the beast. my dad gets down and asks me to dance. after we were done , the whole lobby filled with applause and, wow ur dad is awesome. my mommy captured a pic:

It's really hard to pick just one but I would have to say it was seeing Wishes for the first time. It was just breathtaking to me, and I have loved it ever since.

I'm assuming I was way to young to remember. My grandparents used to take me every weekend.. they said when I was little, little they couldn't tell me we were going bc I used to get really anxious and sick in the car. Not too much has changed.. I still get anxious minus the sick part!

Even though I traveled to WDW as child, was at EPCOT on opening day, was engaged while vacationing at WDW, spent our honeymoon there (where we served as Grand Marshalls of studios parade) my most magical moment was taking my then 3 DD for the first time. The monorail was packed and she stood up from her stroller just in time to see Cinderella Castle. She turned to the car filled with people and said "Mommy, Mommy look its Cinderella's Castle. Thank you, Mommy that is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." Of course I cried as did a few other strangers. We've been back every year since.:king:

We took my son for the first time when he was 10 weeks old. We had ADR's at Crystal Palace for breakfast. He was VERY colicky for the first three months of his life. We were eating breakfast, talking to him in his carseat and Pooh came by to say hi. He got the BIGGEST smile from ear to ear and started cooing and making the sweetest baby noises. To this day he adores Pooh and sleeps with/drags around his many Pooh stuffed animals. Pooh was the first charcter he could name. It absolutely melted my heart. I had a tear in my eye and I don't cry easily. To say that kids don't understand/feel the magic has been disproven many times from our subsequent trips. I love it!
