Well, I finally got around to booking from May 3rd through May 10th. We are staying at the POFQ resort. This will be our first time there, and I hope that it is a great as everywhere else we have stayed. We are giddy as schoolboys. Ha ha! We have not been since August 2006, so I hope that the time between trips really makes it that much more fun. We usually go down every year, but a bunch of our friends talked us into going to Mexico last year. We have been kicking ourselves since. Now we are back on track, and WDW awaits!

Have a great time. theres lots to see since you have been there. POFQ is a lovely resort. Our fave is POR but you can enjoy both resorts and the boat ride to DTD is so relaxing. Piano Bob plays at nite at Riverside and theres carriage rides, also. Have a magical trip.........

EnHave fun, Uber!! I think that maybe a Star Wars weekend so enjoy!!

There have been many new things since your last visit. On the improved web site, Disney has a feature for returing guests/new guests. On the returning part, they ask you how long it has been since you've been there. Then they tell you about all of the new things added since your latest visit. It's pretty cool!!:)

Oh, yeah, I don't live all that close either. :(

Does anyone know how long it takes for the water taxi to reach DTD from POFQ? Also, what is the average bus time to DTD as well?

Hey UberMouse! We're leaving the kids home and having a grown-up trip to the World May 9 - 18. We're staying at POFQ also and, like you, have never stayed there before. We're so excited and giddy. We talk about it every day. It'll be so nice to have that time alone together having fun like kiddos without having to maintain that mom-n-dad role. LOL! I'm so happy!

Y'all have fun!

What is the flight time though? ;-)

I bet it isn't close to the 12-14 hour drive that I was put through 1-2 times a year while growing up. :)

As of now though, I have a direct flight of about 2.5 hours. Much better.

I'll switch your 12-14 hours for my 18-21 hours anytime. But the end result is we will be in WDW, so WHO-HOO!!! :sohappy:

21 hours. Yeah, you got me beat there. I can't believe that anyone would actually drive that. With gas prices now it would probably be cheaper to charter a jet.
