What do they give the humiliated guest at Laugh Floor?

I've been on a couple times and both times a CM handed something to the guest they chose to focus the camera on most of the show. Apparently they give something to the butt of the jokes for being such a sport. Anyone know what it is? Dining coupon? Free pass?

I have never noticed, for a while, I basically assumed that it was a cast member dressed up as a guest, but I may be wrong.

I think the better question would be, where do you sit so that you don't get humiliated in the Monsters Inc show? Getting goofed on by real people is one thing but by animated monsters...no way!

When laugh floor first openned, the camera could not see anyone in the first or last two rows. Also along the edges. Now I think the cameras have been adjusted to capture most of the seating. Most guests that get chosen to be on camera are usually seated close to the same area every show.

Both times I went, they chose people near the cutoff point in the middle I assume for easy access for the CMs with the hand held microphone.

Interesting question. There must be someone who knows what they receive? I have been to the show twice on two seperate trips and each time the camera was in pretty much the same sopt. It was about the fifth row on the left side when facing the show.:)

From wikipedia

The show will always focus its attention on a single guest, known as "that guy," throughout the performance. Usually, the use is as part of a punchline of a joke; for example, a monster might say, "I know how I'm going to dress up for Halloween ... I'm going as 'that guy." This guest will receive an "I Was 'That Guy'" sticker at the end of the show.

You would expect that they would get a little bit more than that, maybe dream fastpasses or something.

Ahh well that solves it, thanks.

I wont do that show again, the last time I did it, they put me on the screen and flashed the words (secretly wants to dance inside) then they started playing a beat, like actually excpecting me to dance.... needless to say I wasnt about to get up and dance for everyone, not my cup of tea to be put on the spot like that, so besides me not liking the way that show can embarrass people, I just didnt think it was all that fun and interesting, especially the wait just to get in the auditorium, it was 15 minutes of just waiting for the doors to open, nothing on the tvs, and no kind of entertainment whatsoever........ did it once, wont do it again, if I want to hear some animation talk to me in the future, I'll gladly go over and see turtle talk before I go see Milf

Kinda like your avatar makes fun and light of people and is probably inappropriate material for a family forum? Yes, I can read it.

I was sitting next to the Guest that was That Guy when I saw it. He wasn't with my group, but I was sitting next to him. We were in about the middle on the right side (right side of the isle facing forward.) He was almost to the end of the row, near the isle.

It was funny to be sitting right next to That Guy but man, they turn on a bright spot light every time they go to him!

Maybe they should give any guest who feels "humiliated" by the fun a talking Dr Phil doll to talk you out of your crisis. I mean give me a break, "HUMILIATED"?!

You have got to be kidding!

My husband was picked as Sulley, and he went quite red! He didn't get anything at the end though! I must admit, when they picked on someone and wrote 'secretly wants to dance' I did start to panic!

I felt so uncomfortable in there when we went. I mean, it was funny and all but I was so worried that they would pick on me. They asked the person behind be to tell a knock knock joke, I started to try to think of one and went blank. I would have died right then & there.

I so agree jt04!!
If you go to Disney aren't you going to have fun?
Good lord I was ridiculed the whole time on the Jungle Cruise by the cast member and I loved it.Nothing like being "that guy" taking the fun out of a happy place.I imagine you are the person who complains because you got 2 fewer fries than your companion.

Just like Jim Mora's rant when asked about the Colts making the playoffs.
Mora:Playoffs?playoffs?!?! We didnt do Diddly-poo.Playoffs?!?
