A Beer around the world.

I love beer. I'm so not a wine/champagne girl. I tell people regularly it is confirmed, I am true white trash. LOL!

Anywhoo, after reading about the 'Beer Around the World' tour I got to thinking. Why not offer a 'Beer Around the World' punch-card? Create a punch card or something similar that you pay X amount of bucks for at any beer-selling establishment for say $50-$75. The punch card entitles you to a smaller portion of 1 regional beer in each pavilion. This could cut down on cost and at the same time keep people from inadvertantly drinking a bit too much by trying to polish off every drop of that expensive cup you've bought each time. I'd love it. I can't drink a lot at once because I so rarely drink. Something like that would be great for me because then I'd feel like I could enjoy myself instead of kicking myself in the behind for pouring out half of every cup. When the tour is finished you can keep the punch card or whatever you use as a souvenier or trophy. LOL! Disney could make some money on this because I'm sure there would still be plenty of folks who either can't or won't complete the entire tour. You know?

I like it!

The ones that I had and did not like were-

Hurray! Thank you! Where did you get that?

I thought that Norway also had Carlsburg?

And what about Orisirisi? They had some interesting beer last time I was there.

See thats why I hate the UK pavillion, it dosent have an attraction, it has that crappy Beatles tribute ( I hate the Beatles, why not a Zep tribute?) and the brewers featured are non existent in the UK pub, except Guinness and cider.

Mind you could they really show that its all Belgian, Australian or German on tap and US Spanish and Mexican in bottles?

But Tennants and Harp hell its a 1950s throw back.

id 100% aggree with you, if they wanted to show a proper english drink im assuming it will be a poorly poured pint of carling and then some aggro in the street in front.

A) stella is a gret drink, i get my vest out espessially
B) it belongs in france!

If youre a Ned then that would be a quality night out, though who drinks Carling these days?

sadly the cheapest and most common drink of the non homosexual side of brighton.

What language are you guys speaking? :lookaroun :D

:D sorry about that, you pick it up well. "ned" being a northern person usually hailing from newcastle. often class in the UK is depicted by the drink you drink. safe for me im southern, but brighton were i live is known as the "homosexual" capital of england. hense the humility :ROFLOL:

NED is the Scottish vernacular for a youth that is ignorant of both the social graces and obeying the law. It stands for Non Educated Delinquent, it is a variant of Chav (council house and violent) and is the poular term to describe the youth underclass.

The uniform of the Ned will consist of baseball hat ideally Burberry , some form of designer clothing like Berghaus jackets or Fila, La Costte, tracksuit bottoms, and what ever trainer is the most expensive locally. This clothing will be "liberated" from the stores or financed from their parents state benefits, known as beer chits of ______ money.

Being a Ned is now aspirational and if you get an ASBO (Anti Social Behaviour Order) you are in the uper echelons of the local Neddery.

The choice of drink of the Ned varries dramaticaly, in West Central Scotland the drink of choice will be Tennants Super ( a favourite of alkies) or Buckfast Tonic Wine (brewed by Monks) so much of this brew is consumed in the area 80% of total sales I believe it is known as the Buckfast triangle.
Other drinks of choice are super strong cider White Lightning or a mix called 50/50.

I really think Disney should try and incorporate this in the UK pavilion for aesthetic reasons.

Guinness is irish, its a well known fact in ireland that it doesnt really travel well and that if you want to get a good pint of guinness you need to be in ireland. My husband drinks it now and then and wouldnt even consider drinking outside of ireland. His favourite is Miller, considering thats american, why is it so hard for him to get in America?

disney could include a phone box that is replaced everyday and can be vandalised day in day out by new guests. and to make it that more authentic feeling change the bath room to either that ill placed doorway next to the kebab shop with en suite memorial fountain.
