Recommendation for BBB at the castle

My DD did the BBB at the new location in the castle last wk. :king:
This was probably one of the best experiences of our trip!
The fairy godmothers in training were so nice!
She was definitely treated like a princess.
We did the coach pkg. w/ the hair extension.
She has asked every day since if she can wear her "squiggly" hair. :lol:

I was considering doing this with my 4 year old daughter but she doesn't have long hair, I think thats great that they do the hair extensions! Thanks for the info!

Same with us Tink. My DD keeps going bibbidy bobbidy boo like they did when they sprinkled her with sparkles (pixie dust)

She loved it, made her feel like a princess would recommend it to anyone and we will do it again.

One thing to note we only did the basic package of the hair/makeup, I know some complain about amount of makeup but it really wasn't that bad

My daughter, who was 6, loved the special attention and and being able to go to her own boutique. We did the big package and got her a costume since she did not have one for halloween. Though her hair extenstions have become twisted and snarled she still plays like she is in the BBB.

I only have 2 of the photo pass pics from the BBB.
My camera decided to act funny & I didn't get any of my own pics.
I was so upset.
But, at least I got some photo pass ones.
We didn't buy the CD, only the pics, so I can't load them.

Thank god they did your daughter tastefully. When I was last in MK it was the day of the Pirate and Princess Party and I notice some little ones who did BBB for it and they looked AWFUL! They were WAY overloaded with makeup and goddy costumes They looked like clowns! Very creepy to look at...

Ok, she looks cute.

HOWEVER - I saw two girls wandering the park fresh from the BBB who looked like street walkers. Both myself and my into-Disney-but-not-on-the-net (and thus immune from the criticism mentality - by god she's perky!) looked at the girls with heavey pink and blue makeup and colored bits of hair, glitter, and a spikey scrunchies made of hair and said..

"What on earth is that? Drag Queen makeovers?"

I agree...we had a separate FGM in training do her make-up.
She put it on very lightly.
My DD got to take the leftover pallet w/ her.
We actually had someone comment to us later that day that she was one of the most comfortable-looking BBB participants that they had seen.
They commented that most of the girls looked too made up.
We were very pleased w/ the job that her FGMs in training did (hair & make-up).
We hope to do it again next year!

Of course, they let the girls pick their make-up colors.
I was lucky that my DD picked the pale shades (light pinks, etc. - no blues - thank goodness). :lookaroun

My daughter did BBB at Downtown DIsney and they did her makeup beautifully as well as anyone I saw at DD, perhaps the FG here were new and did not realize the amount they used, my daughter loved absolutely beautiful! and I would do it again.

Also if I saw too much makeup going on I would say something!:animwink:

The Coach Makeover includes the choice of one hair style and makeup and the Crown Makeover provides the choice of hair style, makeup, and nails. The true fairytale experience is the Castle Makeover, a package that contains the choice of costume (including Cinderella, Tinkerbell, Belle, and more), accessories, hair style, makeup, nails, and a Princess Photo Shoot that includes a photo package with one 6" x 8" and four 4" x 6" photos in a princess-themed photo holder.

OOH, so glad you guys liked it!!!

2 of my girls will be doing this in December... hair, makeup, nails.. then we're going straight to CRT for lunch... I can't wait for this day... they are going to be over the moon!!

They have picked out Disney princess costumes for Halloween.... so I plan on bringing those with us to nix them asking for a new much more expensive costume there. LOL

I imagine you are observing them... so you can "monitor" the make up sitch??? LOL please tell me yes! LOL

Yep you will be right there while they are getting made over. I even took video of it. My daughter's make up was very light also. I don't remember her getting to pick what color she wanted, but I was going between her and my nieces.
