From the table service meals below that we have not tried at WDW, which would you recommend (our kids really like the character meals):

Liberty Tree Tavern character dinner at the MK
Supercalifragilistic character breakfast at the GF
Cape May Cafe' character breakfast at the BC
CRT lunch at the MK
CRT dinner at the MK
Princess Storybook dining (b'fast, lunch or dinner) at Epcot
Trail's End at FW
Whispering Canyon at FW

Isn't there supposed to be a new character b'fast at the AK at the Tusker House? What will it be called? :veryconfu

We LOVE Liberty Tree Tavern....it is one of my favorite character meals.
Whispering Canyon at the WL is tons of fun....you really should try to go.
We have had lunch and dinner at CRT, and enjoyed both (we are doing breakfast on our next trip).

Oh Meyla Weyla
I have eaten at all that you mentioned except for CRT and Trails End. My two favorites from your list were:

Whispering Canyon (no characters, but lots of fun with CM's, great food and beautiful WL)

Princess Storybook (very pretty restaurant, very attentive characters, lots of time spent at tables, and I liked the food alot more than I thought I would, it was a nice surprise...I did lunch)

Here's my vote for Askershus, also. DD and I liked it even better than Chef Mickey's. Much more character time, and the food, while different, was really good. We had such a wonderful server, too.

6. Did lunch this year because my husband wanted to try the food (we no longer have small children--ours are boys who are 21 and 19 and they didn't go)--we did not like the entree

We absolutely love the dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. We usually try to make that our first stop on our first night.

The supercalifragilistic breakfast at GF was pretty good. Omelettes made to order...mmmm..

The cape may breakfast we did on our last day on our last trip and it was one of our best character meals. The servers and characters were really top notch here.

We've only done CRT for breakfast, it's just a special tradition for us.

We usually do princess storybook for breakfast at epcot. The princesses here are really friendly and with the kids we think the breakfast menu is the one they would eat the most. However, in order to see Ariel here we may try the dinner next time.

We haven't tried your last two yet, but we would like to maybe on a future trip.

Meega, nala kwishta!
We've done LTT and CRT for dinner, and Princess Storybook for breakfast. If it was me, I'd do LTT.

We love LTT, even done it on MNSSHP nights too, they even dress up the characters! :)

Of the ones you listed above, I'd select LIBERTY TREE and WHISPERING CANYON. I think you'll like them, both!

Liberty Tree will get you a family style "Thanksgiving" dinner, and at Whispering Canyon you can get a family style meal of BBQ goodness! :slurp:

If you have time, TRAILS END is a great buffet to try at Fort Wilderness and is good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Plus, it will get you over there to explore some spots you might normally not have seen.

ENJOY!

I've tried 4 of these. LTT was my favorite, but I think we were lucky to get a great server. The Supercal and Princess Storybook breakfasts were both very good - just decide whether you want a buffet or not and which characters you prefer of the two. Whispering Canyon was just OK. It's the only one I wouldn't recommend.
