tapenyaki and illuminations in october.

hey guys.

i need your wisdom.

me and my dad have booked a special meal at the tapenyaki resaurant in japanfor my mother for her birthday on october 1st.
now i have read that is closed until after then,is this true,if so when will it reopen.

and my other question

i have read that the globe for illuminations is going tyo be out of action for a while,does anyone have an ETA as to when it will be back in service,and if it is out of action is there a illuminations show or not?

sorry i know that its alot to ask,and a much asked question but i couldnt find the other threads on these subjsects.

i thought they were offering a different meal elsewhere and "vip" seating between canada and futureworld...

with no globe they will have a B show with the inferno barge featured a little more, but it has been said the globe should be back by 10/1...

They're pretty bad off actually. The black regions on the continents are pretty visible from anywhere around the lagoon. Its in definite need of a rehab...as of right now however, there is not a definite date for that rehab to begin.

Yeah, the panels are in extremely bad shape. When the globe was pulled for LED replacement in the past, I never noticed how bad the situation was until it returned. But now, about half of the continents don't even light up, and there are huge gaps in the pictures.

I don't even know if I'll pick up our VIP tickets - that is not the area I prefer to watch Illuminations from (the Japan area is one of my favorites).
