Characters in Magic Kingdom

hi everyone i went wdw in april and there werent alot of characters like there used to be in the square. Only Pinochio and the rest of the cast from the film.

Just wondering who people have seen there recently thanks.

they've moved the characters around all over MK so that there isn't a stagnation of crowds all in one place ... most of the characters like Mickey, Minnie, Pooh, Tiger, and some of the princesses are at Mickey's ToonTown ... you can find Genie, Captain Hook and Mr Snead in AdventureLand ... Ariel has her own meet-greet area in Fantasyland ... and recently Capt. Jack Sparrow has been spotted on Tom Sawyer island ... I've heard that Stitch pops up in Tomorrowland, but I haven't seen him yet ...

Buzz Lightyear was on the entrance platform of Carousel of Progress. We were there at the end of April and just happened to look over after getting off the buzz ride and there he was with almost no line(maybe 3 or 4 people). My son got his autograph and a picture taken, which made his day!

Actually, that stopped back in May. But they'll be back out for Pirate and Princess. Town Square Characters include, Pinocchio, Gideon, Geppetto, Faulfellow, Horace, Clarabelle, Chip, Dale, Pluto and Daisy. Horace, Clarabelle, Chip, Dale, Pluto and Daisy are only out for sets in the morning though. Rarely (a few weeks ago) I saw Stromboli out wandering around Town Square. It was quite a sight and made me very excited!

Thanks when was the last time u saw Max goofys son , darkwing duck, robin hood, country bears and dwarfs signing autographs in magic kingdom.

Darkwing is hardly ever out. Country Bears are not out much at all. Max is sometimes at the entrance to AK or back in Toon Town. Dwarfs are only at specials and sometimes high attendance days/periods.

WOW! Stromboli has been out in Town Square?? I'm hoping he might be back for this years MNSSHP.

Yeah, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Driezella were out for most of May.

Pinocchio, Gapetto and the other two (I can never remember their names) are almost always near Main Street in the morning. Daisy and Pluto are often near the Walt statue.

Peter Pan and Wendy are near Pirates of the Caribbean, as are Smee and Hook. Timon and Rafiki are near the boardwalk into Adventureland but I saw Baloo there yesterday and then Timon later.

Tweedledee and Tweedledum are often near the Teacups. I've heard Alice is too but I've never seen her in the many trips I've made in May and June.

Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore are almost always out near Pooh's Playful Spot. Mary Poppins is often found around Cinderella castle (sometimes near the Carousel or near the Castle).

Of course Mickey and the gang are in ToonTown along with the princesses. As stated Horace and Clarabelle are often out early in the morning near the train station.

Buzz is often near the Carousel of Progress as is Sitch.

Br'er Bear and Br'er Fox are almost always in Frontierland. Usually near the Shooting Gallery.

And of course you have Ariel in her grotto.

I went to EMH last night at Disney. Goofy was at Cinderella's Carousel, Pluto was near by and Mickey and Minnie were by Sir Mickey's. It's nice they're brought out for EMH.

I also noticed yesterday that Dream Along With Mickey didn't take place and instead the characters went down and did photos and autographs. Why was that? I thought they only did that when the stage is wet (as that happened this past June when I went).

In addition to many of the characters mentioned in previous posts - I saw Alice and the Mad Hatter on several days at the tea cups and I actually saw Mary Poppins riding the carousel one day! She was in her white dress and bonnet. It was pretty funny and the kids looked so excited.

Overall, I think MGM is the best place to see different characters. My husband and I saw a lot when we were there.

Darkwing Duck makes VERY rare appearances at the Toontown Teardrop (the area near the Toontown Fair Train Station) at the Magic Kingdom.

The Country Bears can occassionally be found at the Toontown Teardrop at MK and outside The American Adventure at Epcot. They also appear at special events, including Epcot's Characters in Bloom weekend and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Max also makes occasional appearances at the Teardrop and the Xmas Party.

All 7 Dwarfs come out for special events, including Epcot's Characters in Bloom weekend and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

The American Adventure at Epcot does have some uncommon characters. I know we have seen some of the Country Bears, the Fab Five, Stitch, and I wanna say some of the Jungle Book characters there too.

In Germany we have seen Dopey with Snow White before.

Psst...It's Geppetto. And, like I said previously, it's Him, Pinocchio, Faulfellow and Gideon in front of the Expo Hall.

Also, Pluto and Chip and Dale now do sets by the Flagpole. And, that statue is of Roy Disney, not Walt. Walt's statue is near the Castle. Daisy now does sets in front of the Emporium.

Yesterday, Donald was busy fixing his boat, so he wasn't able to make it to the Castle Show. That's why they were doing meet and greets.

Horace and Clarabelle can be found near the planter in front of the Fire Station and Bathrooms.

Alice, Mad Hatter and the Tweedles can be found near the teacups too :)
