How is it that this video is still on the web? Wouldn't someone report it to Disney? I'm a bit disgusted, honestly.

This has been posted, and discussed before. It was deemed inappropriate for the general forums then, and still is.

Wouldn't someone report it to Disney? You can if you want to.

I'm a bit disgusted, honestly. I recommend that you don't watch it an more.

They know about it. It was a big media item when the video first made it online, and Disney said the people involved had been fired.

There's not really anything I'm aware of they could do about it being on Youtube, though. The video isn't licensed by Disney (obviously), so they have no copyright on it.

:eek:That is disturbing. I really wish I would not have seen that!! It is kind of weird to think that that same goofy could have been the one hugging my chid on one of our trips...ewww.

It is some of the popular characters (real characters...backstage at either WDW or DL) pretending to be "naughty". If you want to keep the magic alive for yourself, don't watch it. Not worth it. It disturbed me....serioulsy.:lookaroun

Oh come on, its not that bad. I believe this is old news as it was on DrudgeReport a while back. Those people are immature to say the least, and fired as well.

it was "filmed" across the pond at Disneyland Paris....
(correct me if I'm wrong on that)

It's really old news though.

And it's just me....but if you were so "disturbed" by it - why was there the need to post the link let alone post anything about it? Just ask'n :p :wave:

Makes me laugh and reminds me of Alien Encounter...
"this is a scary attraction"...so and so forth - signs and notification all over the place - yet some people who still experienced AE - were shocked that it was so "violent & scary".
It's like - ummm...you just stood in line for like 30-45 minutes and read every sign out there like 4 times making you aware that this attraction is a "scary" attraction...
why the REACTION?!?!!

Going by your signature, you have never been to Disneyland Paris, where this video was filmed, so I highly doubt that the same Goofy ever hugged one of your kids.

However, if you think that the cast members who play Goofy or any other character at WDW don't do the same kinds of things that you are very naive. They are teens or adults in those costumes, and I doubt that they are angels, otherwise they would be studying for the priesthood instead of playing Goofy!

Directed at the obvious: way to scrutinize the OP... She was just posting a video she saw and she probably wanted people on here to make her feel better. Needless to say, she didn't get that, instead she got a few people who feel righteous behind their keyboards picking on her... give her a break.

It wasn't a nice video, but it shouldn't have been made such a big deal, and it shouldn't have been posted on youtube either. Whatever...
