I'm a little annoyed tonight. The orchestra teacher at DS' school is starting a whole letter-writing campaign with the parents to save her job next year. What bothers me is that parents are jumping on that bandwagon, but when the department head positions were eliminated in all the junior highs, no one seemed to mind at all. DH has worked horrendous hours this year, and attended countless pointless meetings, and spent many weekends working to make things better for his department, but no one was outraged that his job was eliminated. :shrug:

I hate it too. I'm not a gambler either so for me it's sort of a waste. Unfortunately, everyone else seems to think it's the best option around here. :hammer: Foxwoods isn't THAT far & I think it would've been much better. But I'm not in the wedding so I really didn't have a say in it.
