Whoo hoo! All alone!!!

Betty...can I ask you a question...no big deal...just something I've been wondering...since I'm on Central time...and you're on Eastern...when you guys have things to do...do you plan to go out at 7:00 p.m. or 8 p.m.? I've always wondered that...because here...things are usually planned at 7:00 b/c all of our TV shows start at 7...so we then think everything else should start at 7.

That sounds about right for here also.

If you mean like going to the movies or whatever, it's pretty much after dinner (7 ish) Most evening meetings here start at like 7 or 7:30.

gotcha...I just wondered if it was 7 or 8...since all your TV programs start at 8...where as here they start at 7...so that's why I was just curious.

I'm a little annoyed tonight. The orchestra teacher at DS' school is starting a whole letter-writing campaign with the parents to save her job next year. What bothers me is that parents are jumping on that bandwagon, but when the department head positions were eliminated in all the junior highs, no one seemed to mind at all. DH has worked horrendous hours this year, and attended countless pointless meetings, and spent many weekends working to make things better for his department, but no one was outraged that his job was eliminated.
