Ok, so I got REALLY bored...
First off, they're filed to replace/update the FP machines at Epcot and AK. They list every single FP location in each park.
The contractor is Custom Cable. they're the folks who wired Cinderella Castle and who provide WDW's Wifi and seemingly setup Pal Mickey.

Isn't that nifty?
Anywho, Disney re-filed for the Legacy kiosk and sales area removal yet again. They switched contractors. Now it's a company, I think Burns Inc, that specializes in concrete work. Interesting note is that the permit expies 8/30/07 so the work must be completed by then.
Back to the main entrance work. The contractor for the "20 signs" to be installed is Don Bell. They're pretty darn famous as far as signs go. We're not talking dinky sheet metal with graphics 2x2ft signs either. They've made the marquees signs for both Busch Gardens Tampa and Sea World. They can do LED signs and all sorts of lighted signs and really cover a vast array.

They can/do make those big light-up letters you see stuck to buildings like Taget for example. "Welcome to Epcot Center" is exactly 20 letters... but I think that's wishful thinking on my part.
The rest of the main entrance (800LF of guardrail) is contracted to Coastal Steel. They did the work on Everest, Pop Century, and many other projects for Disney. On their "our capabilities" page they have pictures of the BAH and Epcot Wand.

Before you send hate mail, they're not the only company responsible for those two. I recall finding a tradeshow style publication featuring the Wand and the company touting it as so grand.
Anywho.. that's all I know

We're all ears

As Disney’s cabling provider of choice, Custom Cable has equipped resorts with voice, data and CATV cabling, enabled a portable wireless device that shares up-to-the-minute show times and areas of interest with guests, installed a network cable in the top of a castle, built an entire network for a high-speed-chase stunt show, and connected the corporate university’s training and orientation facility.
With so many projects underway, the custom website provided by Custom Cable helps the client track projects, monitor progress and manage budgets at the click of a mouse.
