 I said M June Bugs (Marjorie June is what MJ stands for.) But I agree... I think we're pretty bugged out lately. LOL

We got alot done on the house today, that felt good. Cleaned out my Florida room - which had been a giant store room for all our working materials while we worked on the rest of the house - I'm actually sitting my my FL room right now - there's only a sofa and a couple book shelves in here, but it's clean! And that is wonderful!!! :sohappy: LOL

thanks for asking!

How are you today? Do you and George have any plans for tomorrow? BBQ with friends? :)

George has Dialysis tomorrow so he'll probably come home and go to sleep, but there is an auction done the street that he wants to go to so I am gettin there early to set up chairs.
We worked all weekend in the yard. This morning I felt a little sick, stomach cramps  , but we went out this afternoon and planted two trees and began filling in holes in the yard. Dirt is hard to move.

What is your "florida room"? A tribute to all things florida or something? And I am glad you got it all cleaned out and can use it again.:sohappy:

((hugs)) for George... that's tough. And ((hugs)) for your stomach stuff... no fun. :( The Auction sounds fun though! Hope you enjoy it!

Good for you for getting out there and planting tree's! What kind of trees? (And yes dirt is a pain to move... I got blisters a few weeks ago from moving dirt.)

Our Florida room is directly off our kitchen on the back of the house - it's smaller than the living room - but larger than a bedroom, it's just a nice space between the back porch, laundry room and kitchen. It has a lower roof than the rest of the house so it carries a bit of a cottage feel. It has windows the entire length of the room - so it let's in tons of sun... thus the title of the room. :) It still has a long way to go - we have to redo the floors (they're black and white tile. :hurl: ) and paint the walls, put up new trim, etc. But at least it's clean and useable now... :sohappy:

The rooms sounds neat. I wish I had an extra room that I could have a nice view and just a relaxing spot with no tv or distractions to just sit and reflect or read a good book.

We planted a Crimson King Red Maple Tree and a Flowering Cherry Willow Tree. We also have two more Lilac Trees to be planted. When we moved in there were about 30 trees that had to be cut down all over the property. Some from storm damages and others because they just grew in strange spots (Black Walnut Trees) and we were tired of picking up the dang nuts every year. There are a few more trees that need to come down for safety reasons, but we want to add some nice trees in areas around that look nice but also are good for the environment.

Yah. I bought a Phillies shirt today and I'll prolly get a hat too. LOL, I plan on showing the Cali folk where I come from.

*giggle* All you yankee's do that. No matter where you go - you show your pride... You'll never see someone from Cali with an "I LOVE CA" Tshirt on - or someone from Florida with "Florida born" but darn it if everyone from PA and OH doesn't advertise their state on everything they own. :ROFLOL:

That's exactly what this room is... my quiet spot. :) No toys. No TV. This is mommy's unwind room. ;) (Jay took over the shed as his place so I claimed this room.) I have two floor to ceiling book shelves stocked full with books and a few games like scrabble, monopoly, twister, etc. for entertaining.

Red Maple's are gorgeous! And I LOVE Flowering Willow's! We have a flowering willow in our front yard - it's only about 10 years old so it's this beautiful canopy that's doesn't over take the house... I'm completely in love with it! great choices!!!

And good for you for replanting after you had to remove your tree's... :sohappy: (nothing is worse than a nutty tree. They make the biggest messes! - Well, sweetgum tree's and pine tree's are horrible too - sap and those spikey balls all over the yard are awful!) We took down two sweet gums and a mimosa when we moved in. All of them were junky looking- someone had hacked at them instead of pruning them so they had to go. But we still have several magnolia's, a crepe myrtle and a giant oak in our backyard - so I didn't feel bad.

 True. But it's not like OSU and Penguins Material. (I take partial responsibility in this... I'm originally from OH and my little brothers are OSU nuts... even their cars are red "scarlett" and black.)

Well, I must get to bed. Great chatting with you all. Hopefully I'll be on tomorrow, if not have a great Memorial Day. {{Hugs}}

Good Night Dan! Hope you have a great day tomorrow!

You ain't just whistlin' Dixie. :D I am all about Pennsy...love my state, love my county.

I know you're already gone but had to reply...

Bet you're all in bed at this point. Lightweights. :p

You guys were talking about swimsuits earlier...last night my fitnesss crazy teaches - aerobics - as - a - side - job supposed best friend takes a look at me and says "What's with your stomach? Are you pregnant?". !!!!

Now, keep in mind I just had a baby 5 years ago, so my physique is perhaps not all it could be....but I'm sitting there with a beer in one hand and a cigarette (Yes, I am trying to quit, I know it is a foul and unhealthy habit and I really am trying) in the other...Good Lord, what kind of person does she think I am? Who smokes and drinks when they're pregnant??? Ewww!!!!!

Ok, my original point is I basically have two weeks before swim season to drop ten pounds and rediscover my abdominal muscles. That makes me cranky.

*Sigh* I am starting to wonder if I made a mistake doing this program. I am not having fun. I am more tired so far in this one week then my last CP combined, and my feet are always killing me by the end of the evening. Plus I hate the hours. I don't know what to do.:(

Aww, honey. Sorry to hear that this is no fun. I am not actually good on advice, but all I can say is...if you're not happy, leave it. This is not the only way to work for Disney.

Morning Betty!

That's a great idea for Jo - maybe she could move departments if there's an opening - I'm sure Disney would rather move within before going outside and hiring someone new... I hope it all works out for you Jo!

Hope you all have a great day remembering!

Good morning! I hope everyone has a good Memorial Day today. I'm boiling eggs for deviled eggs, and my folks' cookout is at one. So I'm here for a little bit.
