It went well - Dave drove SS's carsince she had problems with it yesterday, and I drove the van - both vehicles are full to the top right now, but we're all too tired to unpack, so it can wait til tomorrow!

I remember moving my sister home from school. Our van, her car and my parents car was packed. It is amazing how much a person can collect in a short amount of time.

Inconveniently, I had none of the above.

However, I did have rice and black beans.

I just had a rice and black bean burrito! :slurp: YUMMY.

(I'm a big Moe's fan.)

I always thought he was arrogant, but the final straw was his whole take on postpartum depression. :brick: He can have an opinion on that when he has the right equipment.
:ROFLOL: Amen girl. LOL
Hello Jess

What have you been up too today?
Maybe Jess did pass out from exhaustion!
Quite nearly. LOL

We worked all day on the house - putting in a new door from the sunroom to the laundry room - and one from the laundry to the back porch... (we had to move them on the walls, so there was rerunning electrical for the outlets and cutting/replacing studs etc... lots of crazyness!

Yesterday we went to the Habitat for Humanity store down the street and I found all new hardware drawer pulls for our kitchen cabinets - for $1 a piece - brand new! :sohappy: We looked at Lowes later and found the same one's for $6 - at 26 pulls... we saved over $200!!! I was thrilled.

And we found our back door (for $20) NEW... it's floor to ceiling glass paned... (same door at Lowes: $400!) We were so thrilled! For less than $50 we got over $600 in things for the house... so of course we've been working on it nonstop.

Lizzy got to play in her new kiddie water park we found for a great deal at Target today too! I'll have to upload pics in a sec... right now I'm just catching my breath from all this nuttiness. LOL

How are you two doing? I missed y'all today!

BTW, Amy, I bought High School Musical - now I'm a fan. (don't tell Abby - I used to tease her about it). The music and choreography is really well done.

Hooray!!! It really is, isn't it? We listen to the soundtrack all the time, and I listen even when Em's not in the car.

I have yet to see that movie. :lookaroun
Is it really all that good?

Yes yes yes. I would not steer you wrong on this. I mean, it's not gonna change your life or anything, but it's just so fun and upbeat. Give it a chance.

No they're all over.

It's basically like a goodwill - except most stuff is brand new. We have 7 stores in Charleston - most of the things are left over from big condo conversions - or job sites where it's more expensive to send things back than to just donate them and get the tax write off.

Some of it's junk, as they bring the old stuff from the houses or condo's along with any new products they have left over.

They have set prices for most things though - so for any interior door it's $10 and exterior is $20 - doesn't matter the condition, style or size. Which is awesome. They have random sections of trim and carpet, tile, sinks, sometimes appliances, etc.

It's an awesome store... we try to check in anytime we have some extra cash to pick some things up for the house - the draw pulls were a HUGE steal for us though... we had the most hidious copper country looking one's that didn't match our kitchen at all - but with it costing over $200 for the one's we liked... I had way too many other things to budget out first.

Go to www.habitatforhumanity.com and look to see if they have a store near y'all. It's worth the drive!

I refuse to watch a movie with a name like "Hot Fuzz" that just does not sound right. :lookaroun
