Hello Jenny. How are you doing today.

Yay! Happy anniversary Susan!

I've survived the in-law visit, so I'm quite chipper. It's never as bad as you build it up in your head, and my step-MIL didn't bring her grandkids, so I didn't have strange children in my house either!

Thanks

:sohappy: for making it though the visit. :sohappy:

Amen!
Yesterday afternoon, we attempted to tough it out, by putting a fan on in the living room and keeping the windows open. We went out to dinner, and when we walked back in here afterward, it was as if we'd opened the door to a blast furnace. The thermostat read 90 degrees! :dazzle: So much for that idea! The AC has been on ever since!

Grant is big on toughing it out, me not so much. In fact I really wanted to put it on this morning but didn't want to hear any flack when he got home. He walks in the door and says "Honey, why don't you have the AC on? I know how much you hate the heat?" :zipit:

Good evening!

I turn off ours in the mornings and turn it back on about 3 or 4PM for the night. Gotta save on the bills.

Turning it off doesn't really work for us, as far as the bills are concerned.
Because we have central air, it's better to just keep it at a steady temp.

Luke!
Did you see the new PotC movie?
I don't recall if you posted anything about it and I'm too tired to check back.

We have window units. I want central air but it would cost too much money to remodel and put it in. This house was built in the 50's. My in laws bought it when it was new. Now it is just about to fall apart. I would like to move out of here but we can't afford a big house payment. We only pay $300 a month right now with 5 yrs left to pay on it.:sohappy: DH doesn't want to sale his child hood home.:lookaroun  But he doen't want to put a whold lot of money into it also. I want the money for my Disney trip.:o

Houses are such money eaters.
If it's not one thing it's another.
Always something that needs fixing. . .
