But of course. Back at our old place, my neighbor and I each had those inflatable 10' across pools...we'd take turns going over to each other's yards, plunk the kids in the pool, and once it got hot enough jump in ourselves. With daquiris in hand, of course. Good times.

awwwww I want neighbors like that!

On one side we have the "don't talk don't wave don't exist neighbors with 6 cars and only 3 people that I've ever seen yet never spoken to"

And on the other side we have the "super nice husband and wife and their 22 y/o hoodlem that stared at me and my kid in the pool this morning... family."

:lookaroun :lol: Jay and the husband (tony) get along well though. They share tools and Jay took down a couple of ugly tree's in their yard this week so they really like us now. :lol:

Boo for hoodlum 22 year old neighbors! (though he was probably just checking you out, there, girlie).

I miss my old neighbors...we were so tight. Row home neighborhood, we all watched out for each others kids, etc.

Now I have a lovely couple next door who do nothing but tend their extensive property and "Propane Joe" on the other side (so called because of the twenty or so LP tanks in his yard). Joe hardly ever wears a shirt unless it drops below 50 degrees...this is not a good thing.

(And little pervy hoodlum... who checks out a mom and her toddler?! :hurl: - besides... me in a swimsuit? HA. Funny stuff. I'm as pasty as they come right now. :lol:)

I miss my old neighbors too... everyone seems closer in townhomes than they do single family detached. Our old neighbors were married a month after us and moved in as newlyweds too... we had alot of fun with them, even vacationing together a few times! Now they live 20 minutes away and we just do the christmas card thing. :(
