since Toy Story Mania is in 3-D, are they gonna close Muppet*vision 3-D just because they want to have one 3-D ride? well i dunno, it says attractions that are about to close on all ears net but it didn't say anything new that's closing. it would be helpful to me if you answer this question. thanks:)

Muppets is a 3-D show and Mania is gonna be a 3-D ride. They wouldn't close it just because they r both 3-D. Come on people lets be serious.:hammer:

sorry, if you just realized in 2007, 4 3-D rides were set up, one at each park, in 2008 5 3-D rides will be set up, 3 parks have one, the other one will have 2. so i thought they will be ruinning the pattern. but i bet that at the DL one they'll have to remove one (i'd say ITTBAB! it has nothing to do with California)

I don't know of any rule, written or unwritten, that says one 3-D attraction per park. Muppets is a theater show, and Toy Story Mania will be a ride. I don't see any reason for Muppets to close. The Studios can't afford to close anything good...there's hardly anything worth doing in the park as it is!

If you look across the board, 3-D shows aren't the only attraction type that's duplicated:

-2 Stunt Shows at MGM
-3 Rotating-Midway-type rides at MK

I don't see repeated redundancy taking out Muppetvision.

Hmm.. Disney's California Adventure has two 3-D attractions and it has been that way since 2001. There is no pattern and there never was, and yea I agree, lets be serious.

Just at DS a few weeks ago and while waiting for the first Backlot Tour the CM told our small group that BT days were numbered. Because of the new Toy Story ride, she didn't say anything about the Muppets. I took it as a rumor....

I would say the Backlot Tour's days are numbered, but NOT because of the Toy Story ride, the Tour has no content now. They should just call it "the Catastrophy Canyon ride" and be done with it. Or better yet, scrap the whole thing and put in a real ride.

They won't take Muppets, its such a big part of MGM. But I do think that like Star Tours, it needs a new story and a face lift. Its about time they realize that the BLT (not the sandwich) is done away with and they better utilize that land.

Hi there NCState:wave: .....I won't voice my opinon on your choice of schools
