We got up and just hit the ground running. We cleaned the house (George broke the vacuum). Then he ran to the store for chicken while I made a pasta salad. We had plans to go up to the river and cook out with friends. (Though it was a little cold today). When George got home, he took a shower and I pulled weeds when we got a fire call. He ran off to it, but I had to rest my knee and couldn't go.
By the time he got back, he need another shower so we called our friends and decided to just meet out in town for a late lunch early dinner. We did a little bit of shopping and then came home and watched some tv.
The good news is the house next door is finally getting torn down. (Angel Choir sings Hallelujia). We talked to the daughter and she thinks they will finally sell us the property. (Another Angel Choir sings About Damn Time :lol: ).
It really was a full day.

The truth is, we want the property just for the garage so we can store our decorations. We do large Halloween and Christmas displays.
Well, everyone seems to be gone - hope y'all have had a good day. We went to the Akron zoo today. It's little but very beautifully done, and we had a very nice time. Here's a pic of my kiddos in the car on the way home:
