sorry...dealing with a stupid client at the time...

Hey Nibbs. I wish you would have been the photographer at my DD's communion yesterday. Maybe you would have got better shots of her.:lookaroun I am sooo disapointed in the shot they got of her. I could have gotten that shot with my own camera.

Sorry I am venting again. I will try to stop.:zipit:

:( I'm sorry...why was it bad? Was it a posed shot or a candid?

It was candid and none posed. The group picture my DD is hidden behind someone. It looks like they said get up there in front of the alter and they snapped without seeing if everyone could be seen.
ooh...I'm sorry Susan.

We always tell people though, in the order form, that "this is a total candid moment, we do our best to capture your child at the moment they recieve (whatever it is they are getting...in this case,) diploma , thus we do not have any control over position or cap, tassel or expression." The same statement could work with communion. We can't control how people are going to look in a candid moment...which stinks, but it's almost impossible to do. :(

Although for communions, we have been known to take individual pictures before hand...so that way you are guaranteed at least one decent picture. Suprised the photographer didn't do it that way.

The group shot is another story though. We always make sure people are staggered so they can be seen in the pic. And we even say sometimes, if you can't see us, we can't see you.

This is why you hire professionals who are actually professionals, not ametuers posing as professionals. :(

There was no order forms or any paper to say that. I don't mind candid shots I just wanted a professional photo if that is what I had to have.

Steam off again.:o I need to stop venting and complaining about it and let it gooooooooo.:zipit:  Thanks for listening.

Hey Jenny. How's it going?

Yup. Quiet day today.

I'm good, how are you?

Sorry, somehow I got booted off earlier. I'm pretty good, had a headache for a while, but it seems to be better. Crazy week ahead of me though. Our school levy vote is tomorrow and some of us have volunteered to check on whether people in the district are voting, so if they haven't, they will receive a courtesy call encouraging them to get to the polls. Not influencing, mind you, just a polite reminder. I'll do the checking, but I don't want to do the calls. Then we have the final PTG meeting of the school year, so I have to have a report done on our expenses for the year. Then Friday is Joel's IEP meeting (which I haven't even started preparing for), and staff appreciation day at the school, for which the PTG is providing a dessert buffet in the teacher's lounge :slurp: .
Just a little......INSANE. :lookaroun :brick: :brick:
