Wow!
This guy was a well-dressed businessman, the same age as me. He was sitting there going over some paper work while we were still at the jetway. As we started to taxi to the runway he picked up the air sickness bag. By the time we reached the runway he was out cold. George switched seats with me and the flight attendant found both a doctor and nurse on board. They finally brought him around but he was incoherent for some time. Then he started to sweat like I've never seen before. George was mopping the sweat off this head. He said that he had no pre-existing medical conditions and didn't know what happened, but after a few minutes, he felt like he could continue on the flight. The doctor checked him out again and okayed it. About midway through the flight he started to get sick again. . .shaking, nausea and profound sweating. We called the doctor back over and he told him that he didn't think it was his heart and he just tried to make him comfortable for the rest of the flight. Poor guy. What a miserable 2 hours for him. Was kinda freaky for George and I too. But the flight attendants were great! And the doctor looked and acted like George O'Malley so that was kinda neat. What an experience!
Wow - that's really scarey! I really have a lot of respect for the flight attendants - they keep their cool in stressful situations. I'd be screaming and panicing!

Yes I'm still around, just literally exhausted trying to get through these last few weeks of school alive. Anyway, I read about those two horrifying flights and I was shocked. I really hope those two men came out ok.

I know.
They were so cool. And they were so attentive not only to the poor guy, but to George and I as well. First time we ever flew Air Tran and I'd recommend it to everyone! Great airline in every way!

I thought the guy was dead when he passed out.
He was totally gray and his eyes were just opened and vacant.
Freaked me out completely!

Yay!!! Unfortuately I've got to go, but I'll read it tomorrow. Meanwhile, time to give up the computer for the night - DS is showing withdrawal symptoms!

Bye Betty!
