Caffeine helps mine, but then makes it hard to sleep which makesthe migraine worse :( I've had them since I was 10, I almost don't remember my life without them. I almost always have a headache and have migraines 2-5 times a week, but they usually don't last this long...

I tried maxalt, no dice :( plus, even if it did work, my ins. only pays for 4 doeses, not even enough for a week.....

I was in a pretty bad car accident when I was 16 and have gotten them since...not very often though, maybe 1 per year.
Bonny, have you seen a doctor? Especially since this one is lasting so long??

I cant take more than 1 a week...and it works good for me ...There is nothing the Dr's can do for you?

yes, I have a neuro that I see once a month, but they are pretty much out of options with me, I've been on it all. I'd have to go to the ER if I went anywhere and that is a 8 hour wait for something that knocks me totally out and means Andrew can't work, so we aren't going there....Since I have such sever ones and so often, there isn't a lot of outs for me. If I didn't tell you, you'd never even know that I take pain meds everyday.....

Thanks Freddy and Steph....it's my lot in life, but it could be so much worse, if they didn't make pain meds I wouldn't even be functioning, so I wouldn't have MJ,....we all have our things to deal with, this is mine....
